Death Toll Rises to 40 this week in Tijuana (Graphic Photos)

Some 40 people have been killed in drug-related violence in the past week in Tijuana, bringing the total so far this year to more than 400. On Monday, 12 bodies were found outside an elementary school and an additional four victims were discovered in another section of the city. Nine more bodies were discovered near a day care on Thursday and two other bodies were found elsewhere.

The mayor of Chicago wants the governor of Illinois to call up the national guard to combat crime in Chicago. Obama used to represent that district.

Interesting you mention this angle. There hae been a lot of murders all over Mexico that are being hailed as ‘drug gang’ murders. The pictures...to me...tell a different story...

Looks like a LACK of a WOD to me. This is what happens when drugs are tolerated, almost legal. Turf wars on just who gets to control the business. In Mexico, this includes police and local government corruption.

These ones look like they were mainly shot execution style.

Wrong. That link is the entire LA County area which is huge and cannot be compared to such a small town as Tijuana.

Fact is Los Angeles city itself generally has substantially less crime per capita than most major cities in other states.

I'm not sure. The Matamoros killers practiced Santeria, which is a form of voodoo. The Santa Muerte cult may be a blend of Catholicism and Aztec belief systems.

Let's hear the multicultural drones explain this one away. Sorry, but all cultures are most decidedly NOT equal. America IS exceptional compared to every other country in the world. However, if we don't immediately put a stop to the invasion of our sovereign territory by people whose only cultural frame of reference is the corruption, lawlessness, and barbarism we see displayed in Tijuana, we are finished.
