Ifill is an arrogant disgrace to ethics, journalism, PBS.
She is beneath contempt having stolen a fair VP debate
from the American people.
To Sarah Palin, snooty Gwen Ifil said, “Now that wasn’t so bad, was it?” as if she had just given Sarah a root canal.
Did you notice that when Ifill asked a rather odd, unusual question, “What campaign promises might you not be able to keep?”, Biden was able to instantly, on a dime, come up with an answer. He didn’t even take half a second to think about the different promises and evaluate them. Don’t tell me that he wasn’t given some sort of clue ahead of time about the questions.
“They were all leftest questions.”

Almost invariably and by default, it is the LEFT that sets the agenda, creates the talking points, lays the ideological foundation, and is this case, literally frames the debate.
She will get everyone’s approval. Her method was letting the candidates respond with any answer they wanted regardless of the question she asked. She was a potted plant. Both candidates did well with the opportunity they had to put forward their campaign’s talking points. They both hit it out of the park for their side. Now on to the main event.
I expected much worse from her, so I was pleased it went the way it did. Let’s just enjoy the win and move forward, they’re sill a huge amount to be done in the next few weeks. Whining will not win anyone over to our side.
yeah I can see some questions:
do you think mccain-feingold should be repealed?
do you think people who voted for hamas terrorists deserve a state?
how are we going to pay for this bailout?
how are we going to deal with illegal immigration?
Yes, indeed. The commission also chose two “unbiased” reporters from PBS. Fox News was passed over yet again . . they are much too “biased” to deserve a single moderator.
I'm rarely disappointed.

I must have seen a different debate than you did. Don’t you remember Sarah having to slap Ifill down for Gwen criticizing her answers?
Gwen did a good job. I don’t know if biden was given the questions ahead of time but I suspect he was because of his plugs. Gwen has however, porked out quite a bit since I last saw her.
I though the clock was not watch for Biden. He was allowed to run over and on occasion given two shots at a question and Palin got only one. I marked on a paper the sequence. Was real sh@@. If you can find a video of the complete debate, test it out.
I look for it to be on the dollar remainder table at Borders, and I just might have to buy it to use when my Koran is used up.
She is a black, liberal, female. Hence, in that order bulletproof.
Just evidence that she is a liberal and liberals don’t have the ethical capacity to see when they are in a conflcit of interest becasue everything is an oppotunity for them to fruther their secular agenda regardless of conflict or unethical nature ... leftists don’t have set ethics, everything is on a sliding scale, so you can’t expect someone like liberal Gwen Ifill to see the conflict, so it does little good after the fatc to chide a liberal for a conflict they couldn’t see and would only exploit if they could. Better to exploit their bias, know what I mean?
