Update on latest information from Berg v. Obama regarding eligibility for POTUS.
1. What is his original citizenship.
2. When he moved to Indonesia did he give up that citizenship?
First question needs to be answered first, because you can not answer the second question without knowing original citizenship. Very simply if he doesn't have the citizenship he can not give up something he never had.

I showed you a copy of his unquestionably valid birth certificate that he has already released.

I asked what proof he had of that. Not what proof he had that McCain would release his birth certificate.
But the Jakarta school record says that's where he was born. Not where his birth was registered.

The paperwork you are given when you register a birth is official and I’m sure the school where he was enrolled in jakarta “thought” it was a “regular” birth certificate.
Think about it. That school had no idea what an American birth certificate would look like.
Besides, the officials at the school in Jarkarta may never even have asked to see Obama’s birth certificate. They may have only asked his mother where Obama was born and then wrote that done.

But if he were born in Kenya, rather than Hawaii, and she was asked where he was born, why wouldn't she have said Kenya?

It wasn't Obama and McCain who were being discussed in that exchange. What was being discussed was the State Department. Specifically the State Department's refusal of Berg's subpoena, which was the topic of this article.

It doesn't make any sense to me. The State Department is part of the executive branch, and is headed up by Condoleezza Rice, who was appointed by Bush.
So why would the State Department balk at providing information about Obama, but provide information about McCain without delay? Is the Bush administration trying to protect Obama? That doesn't seem likely.
Again, Kevmo's claim doesn't make any sense to me. Which is why I asked what proof he had to back it up.

HIPAA (not HIPPA) stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. It was not intended to be a privacy law, although that is how it has morphed. In fact if you ask the majority of people they will tell you that the “P” stand for privacy. Two years ago, I had to print out a copy and show a hospital administrator in order to get access to my wife’s medical records because she didn’t understand what she had wrong with her and they wouldn’t talk to me.

If so, when did Obama make any statement of fact that he is or was an Indonesian citizen? I can't recall seeing any such statement of fact from Obama.
However Berg clearly makes it a statement of fact when he says in his response to the motion to dismiss:
Even if Obama was, in fact, born in Hawaii, he lost his U.S. citizenship when his mother re-married and moved to Indonesia with her Indonesian husband.
Now that has to be done in court.

I've only said that Berg's claim that Obama is or was an Indonesian citizen makes the birth certificate moot. Because it wouldn't have mattered if he were born in Hawaii or Kenya. Even Berg says this himself.
