Speaking to reporters earlier today, Obama campaign manager suggested that Obama could raise doubts about NBC's Tom Brokaw, who is also set to moderate a debate, just as McCain's campaign has suggested PBS's Gwen Ifill shouldn't moderate tonight's.
Plouffe noted that Tom Brokow has been in the paper recently talking about “his communication with the McCain campaign and their friendship."
"I assume they’ll apply the same standard to Tom Brokaw," he said.
The New York Times reported that Brokaw had conducted "shuttle diplomacy" between the McCain campaign and NBC, about which the campaign had complained.
MoveOn.org has also attacked Brokaw for getting a poll number wrong while hosting "Meet the Press."

LOL! Maybe NBC needs to wake up on Obama now that they are going after Brokaw! Never thought I would see a story like this against Brokaw.
Good, replace Brokaw with Sean Hannity.
Is anyone really listening to the knee jerk reactions of the left. We have the proof; they only have cooked up lies according to the book of radical lies which they can not operate or live without.
Let me know when Brokaw publishes a book that has his nose far up McCain’s nether regions.

I still have a fair amount of respect for Brokaw. I think he threw the spear that got Matthews and Oberman marriage broke-up.
I heard an interview that he did with Hugh Hewitt last year and he is certainly a liberal; a tired old left-wing liberal, hippy.
Oh Please, McCain’s ca,p said hey hope she could ut aside her bias and wnt throguh with the debate. Obama is stopping his feet and throwing a fit over a journalist taking to the other camp? Don’t pick fights with people who buy ink by the gallon dumb@$$!
