Frank is delusional. He just doesn’t get it. OReilly OWNED him.
BOR wanted to tell Barny to “Man up,” but he thought Frank might have taken it as a come on. ;)
Glad to hear it! Adding this to the Timeline Project / Link List of Bailout History:

[white guilt syndrome - so much so that I wonder if his time as a teacher didnt make him this way.]
I had senstitivity training myself. In odd ways, it seems to mess you up in the head a little— especially when you must apply it in the workplace for long periods of time. I imagine that school teachers have to be more careful than anyone.
Food fight! Food fight!
Don’t forget to vote on the You Tube video so this can go viral. I was just on at 8:30 am Friday morning and only 4,000 views. Come on, folks. you need to learn how the game is played in the internet age.
Yup. And he's pro-life. And this interview justifies his entire existence. NO ONE else in the media has even dared to contradict Barney to his face.
What I found most astounding is that Bawney didn't seem to care. He feels no shame. And he doesn't fear losing his seat. And for good reason. Massholes will never vote him out. Never. For any reason. (And I'm from Massachusetts).
I became chairman of the Committee on January 31, 2007, less than 2 months later I did what the Republicans haven't been able to do in 12 years, get through the committee a very tough regulatory bill and it passed the house in May. Ive always felt 2 things about Fannie Mae/Freddie mac, that they had an important role to play but that their regulation should be improved. Now from 1995 to 2003 when the Republicans controlled congress and we were in the minority we couldn't get that done.
BO should have jumped all over these outright lies! The reason the Republicans were not able to get regulation passed was because Frank and the Democrats stopped them every time the Republicans tried.
This utube video showing testimony from 2004 is an example of Republicans trying to fix the problem, Democrats (including Barney Frank) resisting:

Barney Frank in September 2003 at a hearing where Bush and the Republicans were trying to get regulation's for Fannie/Freddie:
I want to begin by saying that I am glad to consider the legislation, but I do not think we are facing any kind of a crisis. That is, in my view, the two government-sponsored enterprises that were talking about here, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are not in a crisis. We recently had an accounting problem with Freddie Mac that led to people being dismissed, as appears to be appropriate. I do not think at this point there is a problem with a threat to the treasury. Im going to say, we have an interesting example of self-fulfilling prophecy. Some of the critics of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac say that the problem is is the federal government is obligated to bail-out people who might lose money in connection with them. I do not believe that we have any such obligation. And as we said that its a self-fulfilling prophecy based on people. So let me make it clear: Im a strong supporter of the role that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac play in housing. But nobody who invested in them should come looking to me for a nickel, nor anybody else in the federal government.
These are just a few of the examples of Barney Frank resisting regulations. He and the democrats had a history of doing so. In the 2005 legislation to bill co sponsored by John McCain to provide regulation/oversight to Fannie/Freddie every Republican on the committee voted for it and every Democrat against. It never went to the Senate for a vote because the Democrats united against it and with with only a slim majority at the time Republicans could not get the 60 votes required for it to pass.
We all had the bogus notion that, "for each argument there is an equal and opposite argument," drilled into our heads in gov't school. And, for many people, there it stays, unexamined. It takes courage, and a regard for the truth, to examine this lie and reject it.
There was a ton of material to use on Barney. Video and news quotes to put up on the prompter, proving that he was lying. A Russert-style interview could have been very effective in showing Frank was part of the problem. What BO did was not very effective in explaining how and why the problem was Dem-created. That was my problem with it.
Just an observation, but anyone who can prance around as a fag is probably used to not caring what people think of him. Bawwney is so devoid of a conscious that nothing would work to get him to accept responsibility for this mess...
**That is a great point!! In fact, I think it holds true for most Liberals.
I have that same problem with the way BO handled BF.
Absolutely. Just these types of interviews make up for anything else the nay sayers will say.
Barney Frank Tears O'Reilly Apart
How could anyone think Fwank won that?!!
