McCain, Obama, Lieberman, and Biden have voted for the bailout. No word yet on Graham.
“No matter which party any elected person claims, they ALL just put us in a leaking boat and pushed that boat into the rapids.
Were bailing out the rotten, scum sucking, lying, treasonous THIEVES who get to keep the money they stole from US!
Bend over and grab your ankles, fellow taxpayers!”
What almost nobody is saying here, is anything about the idiot Bush coming up with such a bad idea.
“Goodbye, principle.
Hello, President Obama!”
Don’t be so sure.
“Instead, his vote showed that McCain = McSame.”
It won’t affect the swing voters. Their opinions are not strongly held, and they only look at surface details.
I'm pretty sure that our drive toward complete socialism won't effect McCain.
We must defeat 0bama at the ballot box to save ourselves, or give ourselves a little more time to fight this.
I'm voting for Sarah.
If good intentions were a standard for electing politicians, why, the Congressional approval rating would be sky high.
The problem is that he does what he thinks is the best thing, not necessarily what is Constitutional and what is in line with the wishes of constituents. And that is a problem that is so common on Capitol Hill that it's not funny any more.
Senators will say and do anything in order to advance their own agendas.
I am sure the democrats are already crafting a flip flopper ad to use against McCain.
McCain has okayed all the pork in this bill, that will be the tone of the ad.
And when they are being strung up from lamposts or stood up against walls, they’re last thoughts will be something like “don’t you ignorant rubes know who you are dealing with?”
And senator, if it ever gets to that point, rest assured that most of the people then will indeed know erxactly who and what we are dealing with...
But Christ almighty why did Mr. No Earmarks vote for a bill laden down with over 100 billion of earmarks some of which goes to Hollywood and other pork gobbling leftists?
I am angry enough to spit nails. If a terrorists were to nuke Washington right now I would just chalk it up to Karma.
Damn this sucks. I hope the House can hold the line, but I feel we just got corn-holed.
Rosh Hashana went until about an hour after sundown on Wednesday night. But maybe Lieberman lives close enough to walk over and didn’t have to do any malachos (what is considered work) to make the vote.
When the dust settles, I hope we learn that McCain was able to help improve this bad bill.
I’ll try to assume the best in McCain until shown otherwise.
The most difficult challenge you can have is being on the minority side in the House, the Senate, AND the White House. The best you can hope for is influence. Grandstanding against it when your fellow senators know full well that the public doesn’t like it anyway — that might help your campaign, but it’s not the best way to serve.
LOL!
Brilliant!
Curious what you mean. I’d love to hear some good news.

McCain needs to say this at the opening of his next debate with Obama.
My friends, as you well know I have some problems using a computer due to severa war injuries I sustained as a POW in Vietnam. If you really want to know more about my opponent I simply ask you to google the following on my behalf before election day:
Jeremiah Wright Barack Obama
Tony Resco Barack Obama
William Ayers Barack Obama
Jim Johnson Barack Obama
Franklin Raines Barack Obama
Thank you.
Rush already hammered that point regularly on radio. If Rush can’t reach McCain, we might as well figure out how to win the hard way. =[
Nor should we expect to finish off the rat party. We have a chance this year, but that’s the way it is.
We’re doomed.
Actually, it’s only a thousand billion times worse that I had imagined.
This has been the RINO rallying cry for several years now. How much more can we be expected to go along with it?
I am so angry I may not vote. I also want all 3 of my contributions refunded
Well, at least BOTH of my senators from Alabama voted against this. My stupid representative, Mike Rogers, a so called conservative, voted for the house bill. I have called his office and sent an email both telling him to buzz off that I was not going to support him any longer if he voted for this thing in final. That he still had a chance to do the right thing.
