LOS ANGELES -- Police are asking for the public's help to find the man who repeatedly punched a 16-year-old girl in the face at a McDonald's restaurant in South Los Angeles.
(VIDEO AT LINK)
The victim was attacked while in line at the McDonalds at 7123 Crenshaw Boulevard at about 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 14, 2008.
Police say the suspect and the teen got into an argument about who was first in line, and he struck her repeatedly in the face.
Anyone with information about the man's identity is urged to call detectives at the LAPD's 77th Street Division at 213-473-4861.
I avoid things like this. I use the drive thru.
But we'd be over run by loud mouth 16 year old girls.
Yeah, I'm assuming a lot.
He looks pretty big and had already demonstrated that he is prone to violent behavior. But if I were his size, I still don’t think I would’ve stepped up because I wouldn’t hit a man in front of his children. I certainly would’ve said something though and then, if he hit me, I would hit him back.
I would never do a beat down on a 16 year old boy, much less a girl, and especially in a restaurant, and with children present.
This needs some prison time, that man is clearly dangerous.
We do not have audio on this clip. Who knows what foulness was coming out of her mouth to prevoke a reaction like that.
Ahh, I see. You mean, you can run, but you can't hide. ;-)
It may well be the 16 yr. old said or did something to one of the man’s children and that set him off. I remember when my girls were little and some teenager made a wise ass remark to my then 8 yr. old girl, and I was ready to tear him a new one, but the policeman behind me got to him first and took the little snot off! The manager of the place gave them a big bowl of ice cream and they told their Mom that their Daddy had won it at the restaurant for them. They were impressed anyway! No man should ever hit a girl though, and I hope they catch him soon.
this is all i had to see. this was the neighborhood where "Boyz in the Hood" took place. go figure.
google map it. right in south central, i believe.
I think it’s safe to say that she won’t:
a. assault anybody larger than she is again.
b. give free reign to her ghetto instincts.
c. usurp a parking opportunity.
She got a little bit of an education. All in all, not a bad outcome. I am sorry, though, that the man’s children had to see that and that he had to go somewhere else for a meal.
Her next order will be a whaamburger and some french cries...
Perhaps she referred to his ancestry or his mother's sexual preferences or his mother's resemblance to a canine or some derogatory remarks about his children, all prefaced with a "Hey, you broke in line, you jive-a$$...."
A lot of today's youths don't respond well to, "My goodness young lady, that remark was uncalled for."
Many years ago I was in the drive thru line at Der Weinerschnitzel in San Diego when a man opened my car door and sat down in the passenger seat. He proceeded to tell me about how he was a Christian who needed me to drive him to his car or something. He also mentioned he just got out of prison. Not sure what to do, I kept calm until I got up to the window when I asked the employee to call the police because this man was trying to rob me. That guy left my car immediately and vanished into the night.
Made me laugh out loud! Thanks!
Oh really? You don't come in contact with many of these sweet teens do you.
No, I don’t want you to think that I’m saying the guy is not an idiot.
I’m saying that I am telling my kids that if you mouth off to an adult, they may be this kind of idiot.
I think she’s lucky that he didn’t pull out a gun and shoot her.
give us a hint of what kind of remark the girl could have made to cause a man with his kids to do a beat down on her in a restaurant
You asked for it
“Have you heard about Amway?”
“The Bush/Cheney/Rove/McCain/Palin regime is ....”
“9/11 was an inside job by the Bush/Cheney/Rove/McCain/Palin...”
“Would you sign this petition to get Ross Perot added to the ballot?”
