People, it's not PBS' call. She was selected by the Commission on Presidential Debates. Complaining to PBS won't do a thing.

You are correct. The Commission on Presidential Debates controls this. Also, as far as I know, the Mc Cain campaign has not asked for her removal.

And they have pulled their contact info

PBS might have second thoughts about airing this debate since it would be a contribution to Hussein’s campaign

Exactly and like PBS gives a ____ about what republicans think about anything.

I’m waiting for the commission to replace Ifill with Olberman.

Eh, they’re just more of the same Obamarazzi, loyal to his church.

She has friends at PBS. They need to talk to her. Ifill’s Obama kiss-up book disqualifies her from being a moderator... She’s a smart woman - she should show more dignity.

And of course there is no contact number for the Commission to voice our complaints to.

I’ve been calling all morning and the number is constantly busy! 1 hour of non-stop calling and I couldn’t get through. Now it’s intermittent calling as I have stuff to do so SOMEONE is burning up their lines! WTG FReepers! Keep it up!

Number is: 202-872-1020

There actually is no need for a moderator at all. It is actually insulting to propose that some reporter is better able to define the issues than the candidates themselves can.

All it would really take to produce a superior debate would be a chess timer to control each candidate's microphone, so that the candidate who talks the most early will have to suffer in silence at the end.

“No it was not a shot at Prime Minister Netanyahu, even though it has become apparent that, in certain circles, it was taken as one,” Gwen Ifil explained.

“TAKE THAT, BIBI, “ Ifil wrote.
