"I will air an interview with the governor at the top of the first hour and repeat it in the third hour."

"Well, I have a degree in journalism also, so it surprises me that so much has changed since I received my education in journalistic ethics all those years ago. But Im not going to pick a fight with those who buy ink by the barrelful. Im going to take those shots and those pop quizzes and just say thats okay, those are good testing grounds. And they can continue on in that mode. Thats good. That makes somebody work even harder. It makes somebody be even clearer and more articulate in their positions. So really I dont fight it. I invite it."
FANTASTIC reply by Governor Palin! She nailed it...no longer ethics in journalism.
Thank you for the link——I am loving what I am hearing!
Sorry, I heard it, like I said, I think Laura thinks the SNL stuff was funny and I didn’t.
But that is just me.
The problem with that is there are maybe 5 talk radio shows with an audience to really make and impact, if she had started too early people would tune out.
I sort of agree they waited a bit too long, but with Rush, Hannity, Beck, Hewitt and Boortz, there is only so many she can do.
I’d love it if she penned some columns at FR, NRO, Townhall and dealt with Obama’s thugs trying to pull that NRA commerical.
Right now the talking heads can complain about little issues and lack of access. These complaints will disappear once she's back in view and firing up the base. After all, does anyone care what she said 2 weeks ago? What will be in the news is what she says going forward on a daily basis.
It was a GREAT interview. I love that lady!
Talking to the choir won’t hurt Gov Palin, but its not going to help with Independent and undecided voters. Palin needs to make the rounds on the Sunday morning talk shows and make a strong showing by answering questions from Brokaw, Schiefer, Stephy, Wallace and Wolf too. Go on LarryLive. Why not? At this point, keeping a low visibility doesn’t help project who she is to voters. Let Palin go for it!
I’m glad to hear you’ve already voted. You may want to consider volunteering some time to a candidate or candidates. You’ll have less time to worry between now and the election! :-)
Laura won’t be too happy, she had an on-line poll on what Conservative radio talk show host would get the first Interview. BTW, she was on fire today asking Mccain to take of the Gloves + “Set Sarah Free”
Interesting points. Perception is the reality of the day so Why in this election with the incumbent literally hated by half the voting population because of misteps and war and the shrill partisanship played by the Democrats in every press conference and media statement, the media firmly encamped with the Obama campaign, shielding him from hard questions and any real personal analysis, followed by this major financial system meltdown (Read: Pro Republican Capitalism) How is it possible to only be trailing by 6 points?
ANSWER: There really is something about Obama that America just doesn’t like you can feel it, and most independents and undecided’s, they are still looking at McCain to tell them why him and not Obama. The first indication of this was post GOP debate, Sarah Palin said alot about why McCain and not Obama. The media have mistreated her in attempts to make her irrelavant. However, the Sarah Palin that took the stage at the GOP Convention has an opportunity to re-surge herself at the Debates. If she holds her own things will swing back to a tie but if she dominates Biden, which I think will be the case, then McCain will most likey finish strong.
“HE went off on a tangent about dogs. Thats Savage???”
Your reply to me makes no sense. Were you addressing someone else? I asked about Sarah Palin.
A debate is a lot easier to handle than a hostile interrogation, especially with Katy wearing her Pickle Face.
-—That would unnerve anybody. Instead of waterboarding, the CIA should borrow her face.
LOL, what unadulterated BS! Guess your guy lost in the primary and your gonna show the GOP how wrong they were by not voting. Why not just vote for Obummer....that will really show em.
Well I think you are right, hopefully McCain will use Gov Palin to point that out to Conservatives and Values Voters.
Especially the mocking of her Faith and pro RTKBA stances and solid support of Israel, Peres pointing out that she had a
israeli Flag is also helpful as heck.
I heard that they recruited her PR team from Bush, which would explain a lot, since the White House has the stupidest PR people known to humankind.
Polls have overstated Dem support versus the final result in almmost every election in modern history. Down 6 is probably down 1-3.
Dems do not do come-from behind, ever. The GOP has done it, and very often. Even in the Dole loss, his margin was dramatically smaller than polls suggested.

Think about it: if McCain wins the election, he’s CINC. If he loses the election, he still has his Senate seat, his pension, his dozen dachas, and his open border - not to mention invitations to the best parties and appearences on “Meet The Press”. So even if he loses, he wins.
I know you all will hate, but I think BOR would give her a fair shake. Like it or not he has a big audience including Mods/Independents. I think a good showing on that show would be worth a one point gain in the polls by itself.
