Morris: "McCain is losing the election this minute"
Fox News | 9/30/08

Posted on 09/30/2008 1:33:52 PM PDT by pabianice

Dick Morris on Fox: McCain is bungling the bail-out issue so badly that he has basically lost the election by "a lot; will be 12 points behind Obama next week." McCain "is giving this issue away to Obama" by being ineffective and not pinning it rightfully on Pelosi, ACORN, and the Dems.

Pro-Obama ads are running 3-1 vs. McCain ads. Obama videos/Yoytube are running ten to one against McCain. I can't understand how a brave warrior like McCain can be so blind and go down with no fight. HOW can McCain let the ACORN issue just slide away?

So John McCain, a frickin’ Vietnam POW, is a chicken $hi@, a loser? My friend, you are delusional.

Exactly Texas. If in the next 2 weeks McCain ties Obama in the tracking polls, he will be a Genius.

I wonder how many here thought McCain was brilliant after the Palin pick?

He is being a maverick a little too soon-

His support for the BAILOUT has helped to destroy his claim of being a 'maverick'. Sad.

In the past, no.

Currently, right now, today, given the situation his country is in, given how much his country needs him to act with strength and resolution (Country First, bipartisanship second), yes.

Coward. Loser.

Yes.

I begin to suspect that John McCain is a Democratic spy planted deep inside the Republican party.

If I hear McCain call himself a reformer one more time I am going to barf/scream/start drinking heavily.

Yeh. And that maverick manta is starting to wear a bit thin, too. He sure didn't show much maverick regarding the bailout.

Ya, 6 years within the cushy confines of the Hanoi Hilton turned John McCain into a real wussy.

The election is no longer about Obama. Because of this, he has rebounded. It has to be a referendum on Obama.

"That alone would win them the election, in a landslide."

You forget one thing, the MSM would parse every word they uttered and within two days they would morph any truth into a baldfaced lie.

I am sorry. I like both Mitt and Rudy, but you are wrong.

They would have fought, but it would have been negated by the media. Mitt would have been the Wall Street Insider worth 250 million.

Rudy would have been the Four Marriage guy , whose kids hate him, and pro Abortion , and the RINO from New York.

The base is everything, and Palin brought that back to McCain.

And before that, he said she would not run for president.

Morris does have a bad track record with his predictions and more often than not gives poor advice.

Don’t know if he backtracked, but the other day, he said that McCain did the right thing by suspending his campaign - yes it was a gimmick, but it was a smart move.

I sometimes wonder if he left his “fighter pilot gonads” in Hanoi? The guy had better stand up and fight or he will be Bob Dole II. As well, he does not even have to get down and dirty either, just state the truth about Hussein.

McCain halted the original bailout bill singlehandedly!

Please stop all this panic-based distortion.

Best post I have seen today. Thank You.

Simple and brilliant, and once the bailout crap is taken care of, it will be about Obama again.

Morris is just mad that he put his advice in writing before the debate, and McCain has not followed it to date.

I listen to Dickie, but also remember he gave us 8 years of the Toon................

EXACTLY!

That is precisely the way Hussein wants it to stay. Hussein knows that he only needs to 'run out the clock' now--and this financial mess is working like a charm for him.

Right GA.

Last week said on his site, that “McCain has the upper hand and has proven true leadership, which could result in him changing the race”

The guy is a putz

I guess you haven’t seen the videos. The videos that the McCain campaign should be showing the American people.

The videos of the RATS in their own words.

I guess you haven’t seen those.

By your reasoning you should never stand up to the media because they’ll only twist your words.

That IS the definition of cowardice.

Bob Dole was ineffective but he at least got angry.

McCain, in his current state of Bipartisanship Dementia, has lost his ability to get angry.

Truly pathetic and sad.
