I'm pretty sure that subsidized adoption is common in many states. Primarily, it allows for (WHAT SHOULD BE!) a family to give a permanent home to older children, children with "issues" (mental, physical, etc) or basically any child who might not otherwise be considered for adoption. I'm not taking a side on the issue, just trying to explain it in brief.

This woman, this thing...she never should have been given the opportunity to foster, let alone adopt a child.

I don't wish her the death penalty. What an easy way out. God forgive me for feeling this way, but I hope her cellies torture her for many, many long years.

You know damn good and well this woman lived in a dump and didn’t have a job prior to adopting these kids. There are too many mother and father represented families out there who would love to adopt kids like these. So very sad.

Bowman was being held yesterday on charges of child abuse in connection with injuries to the 7-year-old. The girl escaped from her locked bedroom Thursday by jumping out a window, police said.

Clearly the problem is that too many people have easy access to freezers, allowing crimes like this to happen. We need to enact some stringent freezer-control laws to prevent this sort of thing. An outright ban on freezers would be even better.
