I would be happy if the MSM rated her as a tie/draw.

We need to be volunteering at our local offices, however. The GOP needs volunteers.

Yet, the public consensus is that ...

...voters are presently blaming republicans for all the problems plaguing America...

At least, the MSM is telling you so. The other day I had a should-have-known-better businesswoman confidently imply to me that, essentially, Democrats are the "good guys." I quietly responded, "Well, I'm a lassaize fair capitalist myself," and said no more. It shut her up so fast I know it's not the first time she's discovered that the MSM lied about somebody.

And there's the conundrum. For one thing, in business life as in the military, you "Never talk politics in the mess." It's risky in business. It's always nice when you can read between the lines and find a like-minded fellow traveler in business, and there are a LOT of them.

And there's human nature, sheeps versus rams. Sheeps' choices are made with regard to how others will perceive them, or what is perceived as safest. Rams are who they follow. We are a nation of individuals; the amorphous "they" presented by the media is an illusion. There is nothing new under the sun.

Seems what you really mean to say is that the MSM will refuse to present the truth to people, and that you trust the MSM is the lead ram. Maybe you're right, but if you are, it's whining about what is. That's why ...

... Until McCain or Sarah can turn that perception around, and start naming names and pointing fingers, and doing so in front of as many Americans as possible, the debates won't matter and the election is lost....

is flawed. If they did, your all-powerful Oz Media would twist it to suit itself, and it would be construed and hammered as the most ugly divisive politics ever. You already KNOW THAT, right?

So what are you going to do, just stand there and bleed? It's a dumb way of accepting things. Here's the deal: people are people, and Americans of all generations are unique in that they chose America. The MSM distorts perceptions of reality. Cynics make the mistake of equating being a cynic with being a realist. The difference between a cynic and a realist is that the cynic is afraid to do anything but reject the positive possibilities within all factors involved.

I’d be worried if we were running against Hillary. But Obama? The week of the election, people are going to wise up and they are NOT going to elect a lightweight like Obama.

I for one have faith in the American people. They will conform around others, but in the voting booth they will do the right thing.

People are NOT ready for BHO type of change!

They always said Gore won the debates, too, even when he turned up trying to look like Reagan and got in Bushs’ face and stood and sighed and generally made an ass out of himself. They always said Kerry won the debates, too. But it didn’t do them any good. The big move in the polls toward Obama has me a little worried, though.

I agree and praying, too. She'll be up against the devil but greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

Dear one...the media have never said a good thing about Repubs yet.
And, I don’t have any idea they are going to start now.
Annnnnnnnnd, we’ve won many elections without them anyway. ;-)

Soooo, I love your enthusiasum and positive outlook!!!
And I’m in agreement with you! Thank you!!!

God is in control of this election and not the dims.
....so He will not give away His control of all things this election season.
For...He is Sovereign. Hallelujah!!!

God bless America

McCain/Palin 2008

"you have McCain winning by 54% of the vote."

Yep! Mathematically, I have come up with McCain/Palin winning by 53%. You and I are close.

You got that, once Maverick warmed up in the debate he fileted him like a Chinook Salmon. It wasn’t even close and neither will the next 3 debates.

As for this bailout bill, at least McCain didn’t vote present. He did what he thought was best for the Country. I have a post you will like and will ping you when its up.

Pray for W, Gov Palin and Our Troops

I don’t know if this country would survive an Obama. We have North Korea building up again, Iran; Russia and Venezuela are against us and plotting our demise. We all know that Islamic terrorists are just waiting for an Obama presidency. It’s very hard to be optimistic. My husband keeps reminding me that month is a long time away.

I’m just going to keep praying because we definitely need a miracle. I’m not going to run around screaming armageddon, but it sure damn near seems like it.

Mac will be down 10-15 points by the time of the debate, perhaps as much in a few outlier polls.

I respectfully observe these figures. I would not dispute them at this time. It should be known by now that polls are used as a weapon. This well prior to the actual event, be it American or Canadian politics. Only in the closing week, when the pollsters then become aware that they will have some "splainin' to do," might they present more realistic figures.

I would surmise the pollsters are no friends of the Republicans.
