Sarahcuda is going to knock it out of the park Thursday night, winning the debate by over 60% of the vote. My guess? 67% of those polled will say that she's the winner. She will ooze charisma, poise, wisdom, intelligence, wit, confidence, and strength. She will connect with voters. McCain/Palin will get a 4-5 point bounce of of this debate.

Meanwhile, the House Republicans will put forth their plan on Thursday as well, which will resonate with American people, passing a bill soon afterwards.

Then, over the next 4 weeks, McCain/Palin will pound on Barack Obama, putting him on defense, and Americans will head towards the "safe" bet - experience + reform, which is in McCain/Palin vs. the "unknown" which is Obama.

Factor in the Bradley effect, and you have McCain winning by 54% of the vote.

Sarah will win in the polls only if the polls aren't liberal sanctioned polls. Even if Sarah hits a grand slam, the MSM will claim she lost to Igor Biden. Confidence is good but the truth is best.

Palin heads to McCain’s cabin in Arizona today to prepare for her Thursday debate, and while she’s there she’ll do a round of conservative talk radio interviews.

I don't think we should rush to judgement before the event even starts. We really don't know what is going to happen.

Every time we have debates, it's moderated by a lib...and the questions are ALWAYS stacked to favor the dem. He's going to ask Token Joe things that he knows are his strong suit, and focus his probing and impossible to answer questions to Sarah. The moderator will be the prosecutor, and Sarah will be the suspect.

Sarah would do well to leave her trademark quotes, i.e. seeing Russia from Alaska, lipstick on a pit bull,ete., home on Thursday night. That's not message, it's anecdotal at best, and only gives the libs more ammunition to lampoon her on a daily basis.

She needs to come down hard on Token Joe and his running partner...nothing hurts men's egoes like being ridiculed by a woman...it's an advantage.

I think if she'll stick to her own, conservative, convictions she'll do fine. If he plays the "experience" card on her, she should just say she didn't have much experience going into the governorship either, but she did pretty well at it.

It's needs to be an "expose the democrats" night. She should get the ball rolling about the greedy ones on the left who planned, purpertated, and benefited from the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac folly. Ask Token Joe why - with his 20+ years in the congress - why he didn't step up to the plate and let everyone know about the coming financial train wreck that we're in right now.

Call his bluff about having Bush arrested, and ask how raising the income tax is going to help the economy.

She needs to use Token Joe as the whipping boy for the entire democratic party and ask a lot of "whys".

They definitely have the ammo to sink Obama. It is whether or not and when they decide to use it. Hillary lost because she wait to long to go nuclear and leak Wright.

As nothing is likely to happen in Congress, they should point the finger at Obama and his friends for creating this crisis.

I have to wonder if references to corruption in DC are hurting Palin and McCain. It reminds too many people of Bush, and the vast number of morons out there who blame him for everything including original sin are likely to take this out on his party. I think it’s time the GOP time starts blasting Pelosi, Reid, and the left. Then they might have a shot. But it’s hard to see that happening, especially with McCain.

For all of you doom and gloomers,

In the last few days, or week, I'm one of those that has made gloomy posts. However, I'm also one of those that has in the past made some of the most optimistic predictions for the election. In fact, I've predicted a landslide for McCain-Palin, with perhaps 55% of the vote to Obama's 45% or less, and with EVs for McCain of over 300.

My optimism has diminished, and I've become pessimistic in the last couple of weeks.

It all has to do with how McCain and Palin have campaigned. McCain is apparently shooting for every single vote in the planet and is afraid of offending anybody, including his political enemies. When the democrats play hard ball, blaming every big or little problem in the universe on Bush and McCain and republicans in general, McCain is out there trying to be "non-partisan" in his rhetoric. Pelosi and Reid and Obama don't play that game. They are in it to win it and they are presently way ahead with voter opinion.

So, if McCain doesn't turn this thing around, and starts naming names and pointing fingers and putting blame where it really belongs, then I will remain pessimistic. Gloom and doom has settled on the McCain-Palin campaign, but, they can recover. If they do decide to fight fire with fire, then I'm pretty sure that my original prediction of a McCain landslide is still possible.

Exactly. To be honest I think McCain has been trying to keep her under the wraps. Steve Schmidt helped out with picking her and McCain wasn’t always on board. He is too tentative and has with help of Charlie (guaranteed to lose elections) Black kept her under wraps..Let her go..to be honest she has ability to be 3 times more powerful then McCain. She is nervous because McCain and some of his peeps such as Charlie Black are too overbearing.

To the pesimists Your concerns are valid, very much so. I am also a worrier but...With the economy in the toilet and McCain being 72 and Sarah being green, Obama should be up 10 points at a minimum and he’s not. There are even a few blue states that are essentially neck in neck. Not a great sin for Barack.
