Republicans: Petri, N; Ryan, Y; Sensenbrenner, N.

Wow. A ‘No’ from Kagen? A ‘Yes’ from Ryan?

Wow. Wow. I’m speechless.

Thanks.

I count 91 Dems who voted no. And some are significant names: Kucinich, Jackson-Lee, and Inslee.

Voting yes were 140 Democrats and 65 Republicans. Voting no were 95 Democrats and 133 Republicans

Pelosi, Reid, Frank, et al all want to make this the "fault" of the Republicans, when...in fact...(and please excuse the caps )

THERE WERE MORE REPUBLICANS WHO VOTED "YES" THAN THERE WERE DEMOCRATS WHO VOTED "NO."

If I hear those idiots try to put the Republicans in a bad light for blocking this vote when they were exactly representing the wishes of their constituency I will scream.

This vote did not pass becaus it should not have passed. I am glad it did not pass.

However... IT IS NOT A MATTER OF FAULT --- IT IS A MATTER OF OUR REPRESENTATIVES DOING THEIR JOB AND SERVING THE INTERESTS OF THE PUBLIC. And there were members of Congress on both sides who did just that.

Pelosi and the others just make me sick...always turning everything into a negative against the Republicans. Congress took a vote...that's what voting is about...nothing should ever be passed carte blanche without thorough attempts at revisions and changes. Did they forget that point? That is exactly what legislators are supposed to do.

Just count the results Pelosi...then go on TV and tell the truth. You had less support from your own Democrats than you did from the Republicans.

You are evil, calculating liars and represent only one thing: the worst of what people should be andyou illustrate exactly how people should not behave. You have no honor!

This was one huge punt to the Senate. Both sides did not want this to pass and did not want to take responsibility for the bailout plan.

How do I know. look at my congressman ...

NY (R) Fossella votes yes

Yes, Vito “I have a love child” Fossella. If Vito wasn’t already out the door, there is no way in heck he would have voted for this.

All the vulnerable Dems voted no. All the Republicans who are unlikely to lose their seat or Republicans that were doomed to lose like Fossella voted ‘Yes’.

This was an orchestrated punt.

Ok Senate. whats you gonna do???

A neighbor (democrat) told me that someone was on NBC (Russet’s replacement) claiming that the people who voted against the bailout were predominately up for re-election in tight races. He made it sound like they were responding to pressure from people who really didn’t understand how it would affect them to rather than standing up on principle and doing the right thing.

ARIZONA Democrats -- Giffords, N; Grijalva, N; Mitchell, N; Pastor, N.

Wow. Am I hallucinating? The Arizona Politburo voted against it?

I'd heard that Giffords, Pelosi's Mini-Me was receiving 100% against from her constituents, but I can't believe she went no. Grijalva is a LaRaza Commie, too.

Pigs fly.

Let's see what kind of sneaky thing they try to pull later this week.

Thanks for the info!

Idaho representative Mike Simpson stabbed me in the back on this one, I called his office last Friday too.

The only outstanding thing I have ever seen Mike Simpson do as congressman is try to break up the ninth circuit and then he submitted like a puppy dog when palosi threatened him with with parliamentary procedure or something and I haven't liked him much ever since he sent me a republican talking points form letter about the national debt.

I think it is time for a new representative in eastern Idaho.
