Jefferson voted no?????????

He objected to the bill's loose cash handling provisions. He felt it should stipulate that the $700 billion be in $10,000 bundles, individually wrapped in foil and maintained below freezing temperature.

Even in Pelosi's own state she doesn't have enough pull to be a 'leader'.

CA (D)
Y=56%
N=44%

CA (R)
Y=53%
N=47%

I was surprised to see she voted no. My little Texas congress-weenie, Chet Edwards, voted yes. Such a shock. You can always count on old Chet to vote his party line.

Wow, 7 of 8 Pennsylvania Republicans voted against the beast. My representative, Schwartz, is a Dem, and didn’t see it my way despite phone calls and e-mail. She never had my vote, and certainly never will now.

Tom Tancredo and Eric Cantor voted for this unconstitutional piece of trash.

Amazing!

It is very telling that the Kucinich branch of Democrats in the House voted no. They know that the Republicans will be assigned the total blame for the Bill's failure and hope to benefit greatly in the election. Then, they will get a bill far more to their liking and far more damaging to America's capitalist economy (or what is left of it). A socialist welfare state can most easily be built on the ruins of a economy.

Get ready for a very painful credit collapse.

The breakdown of the voting in mind boggling. There is no rhyme or reason to it.

You have some of the most liberal D’s and R’s voting No, and then some of the most conservative R’s voting Yes. and vice-versa. No one true bloc anywhere.

I am still in shock to see Rogers, Everett from Alabama and Tancredo and Cantor all voting yes.

You’re welcome. I didn’t see it posted anywhere and figured many folks would like to see what the AP was sending out, so I posted it. :-)

Miller and Giffords may be concerned, but Grijalva and Eckstrom have nothing to worry about.

Even more surprising is that HI’s Abercrombie and Hirono (My Congress-Dimo-Crat) both voted no. They have absolutely nothing to worry about, so why.....? It might be possible they actually listened to their constituents.

Looks like I’ll vote against Blount in Missouri at the first chance I get. I even sent him several letters.

Yeah, I thought he was a rising Republican star...guess not.

Mike Pence has taken that title now!

Yes, not enough pork. That ‘would’ explain it’s quick death. Murtha voting for it. He’s like a fly, totally attracted to crap.

Alas, and thanks.

yep they are, except the two real lib dems, they probably voted no because there wasn’t enough for their constituents: illegals, acorn, people that don’t pay taxes, etc.

That, or not enough pork for them.

I heard Pelosi’s pre speech asking if any of us has ever been asked for 700 billion with emphasis.

Gee, Pelosi, I want to know where the frigging 51 trillion of debt we are in is.
