WASHINGTON -- Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said Sunday his Republican rival deserves no credit for helping to forge a tentative agreement on the $700 billion bailout of Wall Street.

Instead, Obama said he deserves credit for making sure the proposal includes safeguards for taxpayers. Obama said he is inclined to support the bailout because it includes increased oversight, relief for homeowners facing foreclosure and limits on executive compensation for chief executives of firms that receive government help.

Whoa... is Obammy back on drugs?
  1. Obama said he deserves credit (blah, blah, blah) .. "None of those were in the president's provisions. They are identical to the things I called for...

  2. "My inclination is to support it ...."
So lemme get this straight. HE says HE deserves the credit for the bailout as it's all his proposals being included - YET - HE doesn't know if HE will support it!?!

Now WTF is that! The mutt is basically Voting Present again. Some leadership there bunky.

Mac is so afraid of looking grumpy and mean he is going with the new tone jive that gave the left all the real power. His egg shell approach is effecting Palins Tv performance as well. This may soon be out of reach if Mac and co do not strike back. I can easily see Palin being advised to be careful and tentative with Biden. A debate she should dominate may go south for her .

If this bailout is as bad as they said it is, good that McCain doesn’t get credit for it. But he needs to be out there saying why this is bad.

Jhn 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

That is the exact scripture our pastor used in his sermon this morning!

"He’s lying. But he’ll win on this one."

Of course...last week when the media sensed a McCain coupe on this issue, they totally backed the dem narrative that there was a plan until McCain showed up and "blew it up", when there was NO plan. The MSM will not let McCain gain on this, it would turn the election.

This monopoly on ‘getting credit’ and/or controlling who gets credit is one of the central features of liberalism.

Liberals don’t like ‘charity’, but instead want to redistribute wealth by force. That way the ‘credit’ for helping those with less goes to the liberals who redistributed the wealth, not the people who worked hard to accumulate that wealth and who have the charity in their heart to give to others.

This insatiable drive to ‘get credit’ is more important to liberals than any particular ideology. Activist liberalism provides a stage for those emotionally immature narcissistic individuals who need the limelight and who need to receive what they perceive as their rightful credit for being so special and knowing more about what the world needs than anyone else does.

“it’s amazing what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit”

McCain should say that next chance he gets.

I’m not sure that taking credit for this stinko bailout will help McCain, anyway.

President Zero seems to think that his word is absolute Moses-down-the-Mountain law.

What a little freaking Marxist.

Why shouldn't he say these things ? He knows that the media are in awe of him or that the media is scared to upset some people that are using him as a front man.
