Julia Roberts might not be too happy when she finds out that the woman she portrayed in a movie of the same name, Erin Brockovich, is currently praising Sarah Palin. This is considered an act of treason by the left. And that is not the only "heresy" committed by Erin Brockovich who, until recently, was considered to be a "progressive." An article by John Vidal in the UK Guardian details Brockovich's "thought crimes" (emphasis mine):
...Although she rates herself as a leading environmentalist, she is extremely keen on Sarah Palin, the huntin', shootin' Alaskan governor running for vice president with the Republican candidate John McCain.
Environmentalists have painted Palin as the arch-enemy, to the right of Bush, because until last week she was denying climate change had anything to do with man, thought polar bears could go live on land and wants to see the Arctic drilled to within a quart of its oil.
But Palin is also being called the "Erin Brockovich of Alaska" and last week, on her blog, Brockovich came close to endorsing Palin. "Sure, she may be loud. So am I," she said. "Sometimes you've got to scream to get anyone to hear you. So what if her 17-year-old is pregnant? None of us should judge Sarah Palin for anything but her own actions."

PING!
Progressive? Is that like a late stage of herpies?
Poor Erin didn’t get the memo - no independent thinking allowed.
What a terribly, horribly right-wing thing to say.
Didn’t Erin realize that the only the acceptable praise that can be made is that of another leftie??

Although I don’t like the glut of lawsuits clogging our court systems, it’s not as if Brockovich’s was uniquely progressive. I suppose the progressive idea is that business as a whole is unfit to regulate itself, and thus needs to be regulated step-by-step. However, it isn’t as if conservatives lack a built-in repsonse to infecting people with cancer. It’s called the inviolable self. It’s called property rights.
""No one hates more than I do, ....Like so many women, I've been wishing her pain....."
At least that what the edited version says and that's how we should judge her.
Yes.
The left is angry about the same thing mankind has been angry about ever since the serpent tendered a false offer of theosis on the cheap in the Garden: that they aren’t gods who can order the word according to their own will and have it come out the way the imagine it.
Frankly, I think a lot of folks are fed up with the lefts maniacal, ugly hatred of Sarah Palin and will see Erin Brockovich's tacit endorsement as reflecting their own feelings on Palin.
I may be dreaming but I see a decisive win for the GOP in November. From a revulsion with the lefts anti-Palin (and McCain) hatred to the media dishonesty about Obama to the 'Bradley Effect', I think the Democrat candidate will fail miserably. Americans don't like arrogance and Obama is the epitome of arrogance.
Typo correction: . . .order the world. . .
Dear Erin: Here's where you and Julia Roberts part ways.
It doesn’t count because Julia Roberts didn’t say it.
She's been too busy filming informercials for that ambulance chaser law firm.
Actually Brockovich hasn't said whether she is endorsing Sarah Palin. Only that she admired Palin.
Liberalism is a disease.
I’ve seen the commerical - forgot about that. LOL
What I find interesting about the Dems is that no one can have a different point of view. Group think.
