By the way, just heard on FOX News something about the committees working on this bailout bill just had their Blackberries confiscated so they can't communicate with the outside world. I pray I misheard that.
For some reason he felt he had to stay mum on the bailout during the debate. But McCain spoke with such passion about reducing the size of government and cutting spending that I cannot believe he would be for the bailout.
I believe that is why the Dems first wanted him, and then complained that he was just making things worse. The true conservatives didn’t complain about McCain’s involvement.

I was so hoping that Rush would have ended his show yesterday with “meet me on the Capitol steps at noon tomorrow.” I bet a million people would have been there. That would have shaken the politicians to the core. A million people with no preparation just showing up less than 24 hours after the clarion call.

We Americans have allowed ourselves to be divided and conquered. We squabble over petty issues while we are robbed blind, our liberties taken, and our children brainwashed.

Bush could have come to the citizens and communicated why his ideas/desires would be in our best interest... when the emergency economic meeting took place and failed the other day, Obama and his buddies went straight to the press to talk... immediately... our guys didn't... the press would have covered them had they come out right away... McCain could explain the reasons for the economic crisis in an ad... nada, nada, nada...
