When are the American tax payers and voters going to wake up and smell the coffee? Re: ACORN - correct! Earlier in one of the threads DrDeb posted that this was taken off the table yesterday morning, and I was pretty sure it wasn’t. Just heard a few minutes ago on FNC, Election HQ that it is indeed still in there.
AND - on another important subject - remember in the debate last night where liar BHO challenged JSM on the issue of un-conditional negotiations with Iran/Ahmedinejad? He tried to make JSM look stupid by saying that JSM’s own advisor, Dr. Henry Kissinger supported that? Well, not only did JSM immediately come out afterward (somewhere on FNC) saying that Kissinger does NOT support any such thing, but on the same Election HQ just now, they had Kissinger on the phone and he confirmed what McCain said - BHO is just wrong about this and under no circumstances does he support presidential level negotiations with Iran with no pre-conditions (for the same reasons JSM said) and he elaborated quite a bit on it.
You think either this or the ACORN story will be reported to the Public by ANY of the MSM??? When pigs fly (with or without lipstick).

Not only is the despicable ACORN into “low-income housing”, but they’re also very dedicated, with the ACLU, to teaching and aiding illegals how to fraudently vote. Which this year in particular, we CAN’T afford!!!
Letter to my Congressman:
Congressman Frelinghuysen,
I’ve been nice, I’ve been willing to “agree to disagree” in regards to your positions vs. my own on offshore drilling, etc.
However - HOWEVER - if you vote for this so-called “Bailout” legislation while funding for ACORN and other subversive groups remains a part of the bill, you will lose my vote in November, and every election thereafter.
Additionally, I will work ceaselessly for your primary opponent during the next election cycle.
Do not - DO NOT - be a party to passage of a dirty bill. Bail out the banks and investment houses if you must, but DO NOT hand over billions of dollars to those who seek to overthrow our Federal System.
I trust this email has gotten someone’s attention.

I haven’t been this fired up since impeachment. I wish I was still in Florida with the best activists in the business.
If I lived in Wahington DC I would sure be there! And a bit difficult to get to my state Capital five hours away. I will be emailing and making phone calls at least. :)
Update: I just called Boehner's office and talked to an aide that assured me they are fighting the ACORN provision tooth and nail. Seemed to appreciate the expression of support.

Update: I just called Boehner's office and talked to an aide that assured me they are fighting the ACORN provision tooth and nail. Seemed to appreciate the expression of support.
As I said, as of 2-3 hours since that NRO thing (depending on eastern or central time), ACORN is STILL in there, confirmed on fox news channel.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully the Republicans in congress will keep up the fight and that McCain gets out there and says NO DEAL and why and names names!
