I liked the one where he said that he contacted the Secretary of the Treasury to make sure that he knew about the severity of the financial crisis.

Cheers

What a bunch of baloney. I was at church and missed the first part of it — so I didn’t hear that. Will have to watch the first half.

Did Obama really do that much better on the economy? I know he kept talking about

(tired words)
education
health care
programs

BARF!

Well, he contacted either the Secretary of the Treasury or the Fed Chairman to find out what the Republican plan was for the bailout so he could knowledgeably refute it during the sham meeting yesterday.

Did anyone else hear Rush's take on the “meeting” yesterday? It was certainly interesting and VERY DIFFERENT from what we were hearing from the dimwitted Dems! Rush heard from his sources that during the “negotiations” yesterday, the Dems selected Obama to represent them. He, not understanding the word “negotiate”, proceeded to lambaste the Republicans for DARING to disagree. At that point the meeting TOTALLY disintegrated, with Obama looking like the jackass he is, in front of the most important folks in the House and Senate, the President, Paulison, and Bernanke. That's why he left so fast today. He was embarrassed by his performance yesterday. (Incidentally, McCain said scarcely anything, preferring instead to listen to the various suggestions offered.)

I wonder if Obama’s specific basis for attacking Republicans was that they “dared” to leave ACORN, et al, out of their proposed plan?
