Yeah, it makes us bad Christians. Me included, because I've slipped and done it too. But we're also still called to remind ourselves, and others, what the book says. It's just bad form as a Christian to actually pray that someone we don't like, goes to Hell.
I know we might want to (and trust me, with Kennedy, it's a struggle), but we're not supposed to. That's what I was saying.

Prayers for his family. I have no love for the Kennedy’s but it’s tough to lose someone. The family will be fortunate if the Dems don’t turn his funeral into another Wellstone Memorial! Barack would probably make it all about HIM. It might not be a bad thing for the swing voters to see that. The minute Ted dies the media will be trumpeting Obama as the anointed heir of his tarnished mantle and that will go on for days and days and days. They will take all the dignity out of Ted's funeral--with Obama giving the speech, of course. Watch, it will be all about him and the biggest campaign media circus, unless the Kennedy family puts a stop to it.
I'm hoping Bill Clinton will step up to the podium and say something that will pay the O-man back. Without the puppetmeister Ted Kennedy, Obama is finished. The split in the Dem Party is Clinton v. Kennedy. Obama is just a tool.

We have to try to live up to what's expected of us, even when we fail to do so on occassion. The Lord expects no less from us.

Prayer for Kennedy is in order, for salvation.
None of us deserves it. We are all loved by God, created in His image. He wants that none of us perish, but all come to salvation.
