Honestly. I can’t stand Kennedy’s politics and I still think he got away with murder but you make a good point. If he were to die now, it’d be a boon to the Dems because people sometimes give pity votes.
However, I would never wish for a person’s death unless it was truly an evil, evil person such as a Hitler, a Kim Jong Il, a Mugabe, and so forth.
I think Teddy is completely deceived and misguided but certainly he has a loving family and is deserving of respect insomuch as he is a fellow human being.
The mod is right and good to do the removing. We ARE better than that. If I want to see hateful things, I can go on the Dem Underground.
AGREED.
After this thread, I promise never to complain about admin-mods again. :-)
They can be annoying though....
It’s gotta be a tough job though.
I did not welcom Senator Kennedy's death. In fact, I said I hoped he was doing well. I did say that I do not look forward to his "canonization" and I stand by that. He does not deserve to be revered. I think we all know why.
In short, I did not post the article and never welcomed his death.
I think I posted something to you but it wasn’t critical, just my generic opinion agreeing with you about the mods. I’ve had the same thing happen to me though; it’s pretty easy to accidentally post the wrong person.
Capn - just for the heck of it, I went back and started scrolling through the entire thread; I just stopped but honestly I don’t know how your name got tossed in the ring like that - I see you said “prayers up” or something and next thing you know everyone’s posting you.
Sorry to say I started cracking up. Sometimes you just hafta laugh at this kind of thing.
God bless and have a wonderful day.
