Prayers for the entire Kennedy family. Nobody, with any kind of sense, truly wishes anything bad on the health of anyone, even if they disagree with their politics. BTTT!

Onassis died years ago, and Teddy is her father’s brother. He’s her closest connection to her father. I think it’s a different relationship.
Hey, I have no respect for the actions of Teddy Kennedy. I wish he would retire and focus on his health and quit messing with our lives. However, he did love his family in his own way and they will miss him. And I know that pain and it is hard. So I do feel for them.

To rise above is to pray for one's enemies. I hope he gains a saving knowledge of the Lord before passing from this life, whenever that might be.
We'll always fight his type. It's just what we do. But we never want them to die without the presence of God in their lives. To wish eternal damnation is to make a mockery of what the Lord did for us. All we really ever wanted was for them to be upright and correct. Otherwise, we would have helped them to the grave long ago.

If one calls oneself a Christian, as I do, then we should never pray for bad things to happen to anyone, regardless of how vile they are or how badly they acted in life.
You pray for your enemies, as Jesus commanded us to do. Leave judgment to God. Only God knows the condition of Kennedy's soul, and we don't. We don't know what state he is in, if he has asked for forgiveness, if he has repented. Leave it to the King of Kings. Trust that the Eternal Judge will settle all accounts.

People............he could be simply be weak from the chemo, and is suffering side effects. I don't wish this disease on anyone. May the Lord give him and the family strength, only He knows what lies ahead. And He will be there if they turn to him, no matter what it is.

I think those who wish another to “rot in hell” or whatever just haven’t ever thought deeply about what that really means. And those who think they can speak for God in matters of one’s eternal resting place are, in my opinion, misguidedly self-righteous.
