Mod Note: Be careful, death wishes for Ted Kennedy will result in suspension. Freepers are better that that.

Yes, whatever his faults Ted Kennedy did his duty to his very large extended family when his brothers were assassinated.

Prayers for the family - and him.

There is a group of 400 atheists here today where I work. It has been a very busy prayer day for me!

To wish eternal damnation is to make a mockery of what the Lord did for us.

having used ole ted as an example a few days ago I'd just add...

Im woefully unqualified to be the final judge of another mans heart, God has allowed ted a fat life in the world so far for a reason...

prayers for the family, and may the Lord use this situation for His Glory...

Yes, indeed, we can and must judge actions, both our own and those of others. I can’t imagine a person even wanting to be able to judge another’s soul.

The man is sick, he’s not dead.

Can we save the hyperbole for later.

I wish him well also, but if the Lord takes him we can wish for a Wellstone minute.

Exactly. Prayers bring us to God’s love. That love is freely given to us all. May Ted Kennedy and his family be touched by the love of the Father.

God has allowed ted a fat life in the world so far for a reason...

God allowed my Dad to live 89 years until he was saved 2 years ago.

Where there is life, there is hope.

My Dad is a living example of God's love. He's now 91.
