On MSDNC, Pat Buchannan is remarking on how gracious Obama was and how nice a guy he is compared to McCain being contemptuous.
I can’t take this anymore. I’m going to TVLand and watch a MASH rerun. Even Alan Alda beats Olbermann.

Wow I almost missed this. So easy to do in this enviroment. Good deal. Sore loserman.(I remember :) )
See that video on the sidebar called burning down the house. Any one who could do something like that using video and or text would really have something. Of course a printed list is good too.

WTF? Intrade had McCain at 47.8 right after the debate. It is now down to 42.0. I just dont get it! Honestly, I think Intrade has lost it's value in predicting events in the United States. When I discovered I could not easily fund the account I had migrated from Tradesports, I gave up on the site, and I'm betting (ha!) that untold thousands of others did, as well. Intrade is populated by Europeans, Barry's constituents.
I'm not whistling past the graveyard on this one. Just look at how well Intrade did in predicting McCain's VP pick.

Morris said (and I agree) that McCain made a mistake by not talking about why he went back to Washington to handle the bailout situation. There were many lost opportunities he let slip through the cracks which left me scratching my head. Why didn't he tell voters that in 2005 he warned of the dangerous waters Fannie Mae was treading on and offered legislation to safeguard against it which Barney Frank, Schumer and the majority of dems tried to block.

Krauthammer also thought the Palin decision was a bad one. I’m beginning to feel like the whole Fox panel is morphing into Mort Kondrake.

His style was the same as Al Gores, that of a spoiled 10 year old. That you didn’t see that is amazing to me.

Did you catch him call him Tom tonight. Senator John McCain did not even rate a John from Obama who can look into Imanutjobs eyes and see his soul. He'll call him Bob Ahmadinejad by mistake. That'll go over well.

Why would the 5% who didn't watch bother to vote? Never mind.
Aaaargh!! Uninformed"indepentent" voters.
The "Youth vote" that gets out of bed late on election day only to find out you have to register before you can vote.

Obama came across as a spoiled child, whining when McCain made a point yet not really able to counter the point.
McCain=statesman. Obama=in over his head
To: Congressman Billybob
My impressions were that McCain came on strongly and dominated the night. Obambi is out of his depth on the economy and foreign policy. He does look "cool" but I don't think that equates to appearing presidential in most people's minds. Obambi just is not ready for prime time and he lacks not just maturity but the experience and the good judgment a President needs. And I think the American people will agree. Its not about points on style its about substance and when it comes to substance, there is simply no contest. Its not even close!

Speaking of useless: Howard Wolfson on H&C.LOLOLOLOL! Even the dems don't like him. Gawker makes fun of him constantly.

Biden is also calling Senator McCain “John”. Must be one of the few things Barack and Joe agree on.

Obama is basically a parrot and a spoiled child.
He has a great memory and can parrot back out the talking points his handlers have given him. Too many uuhhs and awes, although not as much as some Obama speeches.
He was so rude and condesending with McCain. Always interrupting, holding up his hand like a school child needing to go to the bathroom. Smirking. Always trying to get the last word. The “I’ve got a bracelet too” was so childish and cheezy. And then the fact he couldn’t remember the name of the soldier on the bracelet. How disrespectful.

ROFL... Obama’s buddies are going to have a hard time spinning his contradictions and LIES. They are probably freaking out right now. I’ve got a list right now - without going back through the debate, or this thread - of 6 really BAD lies/contradictions in Obama’s statements tonight. It’ll be interesting if FactCheck.org (Obama’s friends) will even ADDRESS those issues.

“Intrade is probably listening to pundits.”
Intrade can be manipulated for effect. The intrade market has little liqudity, so it doesn't take much to move the price. I'm sure that the Astroturfing strategy involves collusive trades designed to manipulate the Intrade market at opportune moments, such as after a debate.

My consultant, have you ever come up with this many snappy lines in a verbal exchange?:
"BHO doesn't know the difference between strategy and tactics."
"You'd think BHO would have visited Afghanistan."
"I actually meet with my sub-committees to discuss things."
"I don't even have a seal yet."
"One thing both Petraeus and Bin Laden agree on is that Iraq is the central front of the war on terror."
"And if Iran says to you 'We want to bomb Israel', what are you going to tell them: 'No you're not?' "
"Senator Obama doesn't seem to understand."
"Please!"
