See my 4161. I think we agree completely. I hope to heck a lot of people hadn’t heard those stories ad nauseum, but I believe he may have used them on TV and primary debates.
Obama was thrown back on his heels only a few times, and he resorted to stammering and appearing to need a pacifier. McCain had so many more opportunities to make it happen.
I HATE to sit on my couch and feel that I could do better. I’m no public speaker or politician, but I was yelling at my car radio and later TV certain talking points that McCain should have jumped upon.
I do completely understand that the reasons McCain may have been fatigued and ill prepared are more honorable than anything else. He could even have played that up, but it’s I suppose to his credit that he didn’t.
Can’t wait to see Palin take on Biden.

The fact that the MSM calls this a draw is a CLEAR victory for John McCain!
I only wish McCain would have challenged nObama to a couple of town hall debates too.

Two women of the Luntz group sounded like they had the talking points down. Obama “just connected with the people”...

re: Luntz focus group - someone wanted more "emotion" out of McCain! The President is not your daddy, people. Another didn't want to hear about what McCain has experienced in his political life. She wants to know what he's going to do for her now. The President isn't there to "do things for" people. It is so sad, how over time the job of president is viewed from a take-take-take perspective by so many people (lefties). This disgusts me.

The weirdos with the dials in theirs hands think Obama won, what a shock. Have those people EVER been right while grading one of these things?
This just in, Biden thinks Obama won the debate and he didnt like McCains attitude.
Personally I think McCain wiped the floor with the Effete liberal, but what do I know? I was neither undecided, nor using a little dial to judge the debate.
Is that the same dial that the judges use during the Olympics to screw up all the boxing matches?

You must mean the intentional stepping over the last 15 seconds of the other persons answer, just as they are coming to their point.
That was EXACTLY what I was talking about!
It was eerie, I'm tellin' ya.

I don't know how anyone can say a guy wins on the economy when he is proposing numerous high dollar programs as the country is supposed to be on the edge of a depression. Thinking people can't put that together. If the country is in that bad shape, spending cuts is the only thing to do. Agreed, and McCain might have got some traction there ... but Obama's Wall of Words was there to follow up. Hopefully folks recognized the bafflegab, but I think Obama won on style in that exchange, as with several others.

How many times do I have to say it? McCain is the White-haired dude, Obama is the scrawny metrosexual who stutters.
You must have had them confused with each other.
Cheers!

Biden must have had another couple of rows of plugs transplanted, the hair on top of his head is looking more thick and luxurious... or maybe its just the lighting.

I think we can all agree that Obama lied through his teeth, and so on.... but he sounded better than McCain did. Didn't say a damned thing, of course -- nothing specific, especially -- but people who don't follow things like we do will call this one for Obama because he sounded informed. McCain couldn't get a word in edge-wise, and came across as narrow and tentative. Bingo. Trust me, the average Joe Apolitical will see it that way. Obama is going for THEIR votes.

Just keep in mind the race is 50/50 and vote!

Luntz groups always go Dem. The dumb people are ‘undecided’ and they go with the Dems because the Dems appeal to their base and uninformed buffoons.
