Didn’t Nixon lose to Kennedy because he was sweating during their debates on tv? I think a lot of people are going to base their decisions on body language, voice level, emotional control, etc. and John McCain is wiping the mat with Ubie TOTALLY.

McCain improving as the night goes on, Obamba pretty much the same.
Mccain was getting whipped in the beginning. Now he's taken decisive command of the flow and topics of the debate. He's also not backing down from Obama. The lasting impression from this debate will be that Mccain is tough and has a more realistic view of the issues. Obama has been playing catch up.

"Uuuuh uh uh we agree for the most part." Obama's *far* too defensive now.

I love the way McCain is rattling off all those countries and pronouncing the names of those leaders with such clarity. He definately knows his stuff. I could see the concern of Obami on his face.

I’m loving the way McCain is rattling off the names of places, people, and important strategical points in the Russia-Georgia-Ukraine situation. He’s on top of it, and all Obambi can say is “we have to rebuild the Georgian economy.” Obambi, you dope, it’s not always just about MONEY!!!!

Lehrer: “Do you disagree?”

Obama:: “No.... [blah blah blah]”

Lesson learned, eh, barry?

McCain gives incredible detail on the dilemma with Russia and Obama responds “no, I think we pretty much agree.. I don’t have anything to add...”.

LOL!

With the domestic stuff at the front end, I believe it comes to a draw.

Agreed, because McCain held back from slamming Obama and the Dems on Fannie Mae. Thankfully, McCain is finishing strong, so he will win this debate. I HOPE McCain is prepared to slam Barry properly in the next, economic debate.

Obama (on Russia into Georgia): I immediately said this was illegal and objectionable.

Obama isn't even conversant in foreign policy. McCain is fluent.

It's a mismatch of immense proportions.

Barack should have satyed in DC under the covers.

McCain started off slow, but he’s kicking Bambi’s azz right now.

I hope he finishes strong.

The MSM will try to spin it, but 80 Million voters are watching.
