In her new campaign commercial, U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu highlights the endorsement of St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain. In the commercial, Strain touts Landrieus leadership and what she has delivered to the parish post-Katrina.
The fact that a prominent Republican in the only Republican majority parish in the state is not endorsing the Republican candidate is quite telling. Strain is not alone either, for other Republican elected officials on the Northshore are also endorsing Landrieu. For example, St. Tammany Parish Assessor Patricia Schwartz Core and St. Tammany Parish President Kevin Davis are both supporting Landrieu. What makes matters even worse for Kennedy is that he lives on the Northshore, so these are endorsements coming from his own backyard. These endorsements have infuriated the Republican Parish Executive Committee of St. Tammany, which has passed a resolution condemning the GOP elected officials supporting Landrieu.

Well no wonder Landshrew is ahead with tools in the GOP not backing Kennedy.
Not imbeciles, just corrupt thieves. Typical LA politics...they’re getting paid.
I don’t understand it.. Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Arkansas, etc... All solid red states sending Dems to Congress. The GOP Senatate candidate committee is joke.
They are a joke. Since 1982 the GOP has beaten only 12 incumbent dem Senators, the dems has beaten 12 since 2000, 31 since 1982.
Kennedy though is a first-tier candidate.
That’s also due to GOP weakness. Based on Presidential strength we should have a large edge in Congress and the state legislatures, yet don’t.
just goes to show you that corruption isn’t a partisan thing...it’s a corrupt thing....and they know one when they see one and they see one in Mary Landrieu (whatever her real last name is).
Her real last name? I think it’s Hussein.
