Russert, son of the late “Meet the Press” host Tim Russert, is covering youth issues for NBC News. He filed a report for “Today” about campaign activity at the University of Virginia, and talked about it live afterward with Matt Lauer.

Russert, 23, said about the university: “The smartest kids in the state go there so it is leaning a little bit toward Obama.”

No, no media bias there, none at all.

Every once in a while, liberals let their real opinions slip out!

It's easy to help them slip, because most of them have a lot of buttons. Buttons are created when two core beliefs oppose each other. They're all for democracy & freedom without limits, 'til "the will of the people" rejects their ideas, at which point the population needs to be led to the promised land using whatever force is necessary.

He’s already got himself a bad case of Biden-itis.

"The smartest kids in the state go there so it is leaning a little bit toward Obama."

He said in a blog later Wednesday that he misspoke and "made what is without a doubt, quite simply a dumb comment."

Does this mean that the dumb kids go to Boston College like Luke Russert did?

This kid is still wet behind the ears.

What a meteoric rise in his career—from the Frat House to the NBC mediacracy in one fell swoop.

Of course, he had to sign away all his independent thought and individual values and sign on to the NBC-Barack Campaign in the bargain.

Wll ... everyone Luke knows in Cleveland Park is smart, and everyone in Cleveland Park is for Obama ... a quite logical conclusion.

Luke needs to gtf outta Cleveland Park. Nonetheless because he is the beloved son of its revered Tim Russert, NBC will continue to cover his sorry, inexperienced arse.

When is some enterprising hacker/reporter on OUR side going to get ahold of Hussein’s transcripts from undergrad school and from Harvard?

I’m betting that Hussein was a C student at best. You don’t make good grades while partying down with cocaine.

The lights of intelligent though have dimmed considerably during my lifetime. The dumbing down of America is very disturbing.

I disagree with your first point, but agree that it does seem that way. Communication technologies have given more of the dim-bulbs wider exposure.

I guess Little Luke thinks Donald Trump is “dumb,” then for chosing to back McCain? We should all be so dumb, Luke.

comes by it naturally-his old man lied under oath to convict Libby rather than reveal his team got the Plame info from their friends at the Dept of State.
