Bob Barr has finally sensed his opening. With Senator McCain calling for Friday's debate to be postponed, the former Georgia congressman and Libertarian Party nominee says he is eager to fill in as a replacement.
"Given Senator McCain's political stunt to avoid the debate, I ask that Friday's debate moves forward without him, as I am more than willing to step in to participate," Mr. Barr said in a statement this morning...

Any miniscule chance that I would even consider Barr-bra for POTUS disappeared with that cowardly statement.

Third parties get no media respect. Maybe he could borrow some of Ross P’s charts which might be of help in economic times like these. :-) Personally, I am a visual learner and wish they could bring in visual aids.

I’d watch that Friday night: a zombie, Nazi, lesbian, little people & other assorted types tag-team smack-down.
Barr’s such an idiot. McCain’s doing the job he’s ALREADY been elected to, not the job he aspires to. And Bob? He’s not AVOIDING the debate - he’s asking for a couple days postponement - after all, HE’s not the one holed up in the Motel 6 cramming on a subject he said he was ready to debate “any time, anywhere...”
Wouldn’t mind seeing it happen, Barr could let it rip on Obama as media coverage is not an issue for the LP Nominee...

Aren’t you too busy to debate? After all, don’t you have to sue police to stop them from arresting illegals or defend child rapists or something like that?
