"Vote for us and we'll take from others in the name of giving to you thus ensuring your motivated reliance upon our electoral success."
"Of course, it's a message that's well received against a backdrop of government bailouts for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and AIG. However, our valid right to mercilessly punish corporate greed should never become a license for the redistribution of wealth."

I don't know. If I was the run of the mill commie/socialist, I'd be pretty peeved that my experienced flag carrier, Hillary!, (who had been in the front-lines to tear down Nixon, had tried to Nationalize Health care ... all the sort of things that make me go tingly...), was dumped for some Zero who had done nothing but had been born with a slightly darker shade of skin than Hillary! -- I might be a bit miffed to the point that I wouldn't vote for the anointed one during the General Election.
And being the run of the mill commie/socialist - and not being all that God-fearing, I might still have my eyebrows raised a wee bit when I read some things about that racist church which the chosen one attended in Chicago for some 20 years...
Anyways, I just mean to say that your left wing kin might have deeper/varied reasons as to why they aren't voting Obama - and instead are choosing to vote for someone who had least showed Hillary! some modicum of respect over these past few years.
They’re not really that left wing, actually.
They voted for McCain in the 2000 primary, and their views of Bush hasn’t really improved since then.
I guess they think Hillary might be more to the right than what is actually true, and they can see 0bama for what he is...a radical left winger who hates what this country has been and is hell bent on the wrong kind of “change.”
Agreed, if they win they can use the force of government to crush dissent, if they loose they will use acts of violence(Mobs) to win what back what they “should” have won.
I like that alias. I live in Maryland. Rasmussen just polled us. 60 OB - 37 JM. Ouch. One of O'malley's promised was that he would stop a utility rate hike. He got in, the rate increase went through and dead silence. People vote for the D but claim they vote the issues. We had a black candidate Steele, for Senate. He lost but funny there were no claims of racism.
“Liberals will do anything to win and if they dont theyll try to destroy this country.”
We had to destroy the village in order to save it...
OMG! You could be right.......when a city’s sport’s team WINS, there is RIOTING in JUBLIATION!!! RIOTS EITHER WAY. YIKES.
Where did they poll? Baltimore and Branch Ave in PG County? Didn't get those numbers on the Eastern Shore.

Right color, wrong political philosophy, therefore....
Carroll County is about 70R 30D as well.
Way more people in Howard, Montgomery, Baltimore?
They always go blue and so goes the state
“Put the bong down and no one gets hurt.”
Liberals will encite OTHERS to go bananas and use race baiting as the means.
Their goal is overthrow of our constitutional form of government. They’ve been urging a socialist revolution for the better part of the 20th Century.
tell em to come get some..ammo is cheap
Sounds like I mis-stereotyped then. My apologies. I can understand if people were only getting their news from the TVs, they might mistake Mrs. William Clinton for a 'moderate' (and sort of reasonable) - as one might do the same for Dianne Feinstein in California (because when she is contrasted against our other Senator - Mrs. Feinstein seems like a bastion of sanity and conservatism...).
So basically your relatives have plenty of reasons not to vote for Mr. Obama. Not only the reasons I listed earlier, but they also recognize that Mr. Obama's form of marxism can't be coated with enough sugar to swallow.
Nah. Dey ain't be black enough.
Condi Rice is an incompetent with ZERO street cred. Watts is an obscure back bencher. This will not stop the Affirmative Action wing of the GOP by claiming they are ideal to lead to country, however.
The problem with the blue collar Dems in my family is that 1. many are government employees or are dependent on government contracts for a paycheck and 2. have a “another day, another dollar” attitude that causes them to resent “the rich.” Its a worldview that is very difficult to change.
I’m not saying they will vote against Obama. I’m just giving them an excuse if they don’t. By the way, with the Republicans that are getting elected, I don’t think the government employees have to worry about their jobs.
Well yes, but furthermore, they try to destroy this country by winning.
No doubt, for some number of people, like twenty million Black people. But really, Kennedy became president because he looked better than Nixon on TV. Bill Clinton won because women are suckers for sociopaths. The potential irrationality of the electorate is cause for sober reflection. This is why poorly educated and ill-informed ignorant voters should be discouraged from voting--to lower the level of error in the returns.
“..ammo is cheap”
Where?!?!?
