Former Fannie Mae chairman Jim Johnson was dumped from Obama's vice presidential search team, but he's still playing a behind-the-scenes role on the campaign.
Former Senator Tom Daschle, a top Obama backer, emailed a select list this afternoon that he and Johnson would be leading a briefing intended largely for Clinton's campaign brain trust next month.
"Jim Johnson and I have scheduled another informal breakfast discussion and update on the campaign early next month," he wrote to a list including Senator John Kerry, James Carville, and Richard Holbrooke, as well as Clinton's former top campaign aides, including Howard Wolfson, Geoff Garin, and Harold Ickes.

If this doesn’t make it into an ad....
This would be unbelievable - if it were about any candidate other than Barry.

Former Fannie Mae Board member.
This would be like having Abramhoff on McCain’s staff...and you’d never hear the end of it.
The media in this country is going to do their best job possible to get this absolute un-patriotic, unqualified, socialist, pro-terrorist goofball elected.
What a bunch of arrogant jerks these guys are. They have a lot of nerve.
Dems are desparate. But I don’t think any of their efforts will amount to a hill of beans. I predict that Obama’s answers will just be repeats of dem talking points we’ve heard for two years. Assuming Onada is pressed to clearly answer a question he will simply attack McCain rather than answer what is asked. This is a debate 101 ploy. I will bet that all of Onada’s debate prep centers on turning any question he is asked into an attack on McCain.
McCain’s knowledge about issues and debate experience will make it clear who the “pretender” is. Remember, Onada is a guy who cannot speak or think extemporaneously. I guess an Ivy League education is not what it once was. I would imagine that McCain will find ways to provoke Onada that will totally fluster the man. It should not be hard as there is so much to work with. You say you want change and you pick Biden for running mate, Mr. Obama. You say the economy is in deep trouble, but the President has to summon you to Washington to get the bail out bill passed. Oh, and what is it exactly that you have done for your country Mr. Obama? And that’s without even mentioning his past associations.
Yep, it should be a fun night. As Onada said, “you, you know, you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig.”
BUMP!
