Al Gore called Wednesday for "civil disobedience" to combat the construction of coal power plants without the ability to store carbon, Reuters reported.
The former vice president, whose efforts to raise awareness of global warming have made him the most prominent voice on that issue, made the comment during a session at the fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative in Manhattan.

How bout we cause Civil Disobedience at his energy wasting house or jet?
Pray for W, Palin and Our Troops
Gore MUST still being paid for closing the Escanlante Steps from mining of Super Low SulFur coal.
This sounds far-fetched but with Biden’s gaffe in Pennsylvania when he said ‘No Clean Coal Plants in an Obama Administration and this recent outpouring from Gore who really knows better, knows he should keep quiet during a presidential election... I think Hillary is pulling Biden and Gore’s strings, they might both be working for her now and trying to derail the Obama campaign.
Did they get this on videotape, this would be great to play to the coal miners.
Those kind of things cut deeply into snake oil sales. That's why he is screaming so loudly.
By the way, how many coal fired plants does it take to keep his house in electricity? Two? Three?
Isn’t inciting a riot illegal?
Not if you are a DemocRAT or a member of a oppressed minority.
Within the last couple of weeks, a court in the United Kingdom acquitted protesters who had damaged a coal burning electrical power plant. Their defense ... necessity - that it's acceptable to commit a small crime to stop a larger harm or for the common good. The trial had a number of environmental "experts" (all from the left, of course, including one from the USA) testifying about how many residents near the plant would be killed by pollution, how many would be displaced by global warming, etc. etc. etc.
As a side note, "necessity" is a recognized defense in the US as well. For example, you are lost in the woods in the the middle of winter and come upon an uninhabited cabin and break in to save your life. Necessity is a defense against a charge of burglary. What Al Gore seems to be saying is that he would like to see necessity extended to cover sabotage to "environmentally harmful" facilities here. In other words, the ELF burns down a GMC Hummer dealership and is acquitted because they saved future lives.

Hey, shut them all down for a day. Just one day. See how long people like sitting in the dark. Extra credit if it’s done in January or August - extreme temperatures are a great motivator.
I’m more inclined toward declaring a civil war against gore and his eco-fascists.
I’ve been away a few days...someone tell me..is AlGore still a horse’s a$$ ?
Man is he out of touch with reality or what?! Like the average joe wants to shut down a coal plant so energy prices can go even higher! He is an IDIOT!
his cohort passed the f.a.c.e. bill which made it a felony to save babies from childkilling. yet now he wants to use civil disobedience to save the environment ?
what hypocrisy !
let his efforts be scrutinized by law enforcement under rico statutes. civil disobedience to save babies is a moral act in a real holocaust. since anthropogenic global warming is myth & agitprop to make money. it is a racket.
