A Statesman Now heads to Washington (Vanity)

I just finished emailing this to all the Newspapers in VA:

A Statesman Now Heads to Washington

I don't think I've ever in my life had more admiration for a man.
I didn't even start out liking him very much but John McCain
regardless of ones political stripe made a selfless decision today
in suspending his campaign and pulling his ads. It may very well
mean he jeopardizes his chances to win the Presidency but he has
proven once again that when it comes to politics versus the business
of the people, the people win every time with John McCain.

This is not the first time he has sacrificed. He has sacrificed before.
He spent five years of his life in a POW camp. He has sacrificed
accolades from his own party many times opposing it when he thought
the interests of the people were at stake. He has a habit of standing up
for what he believes and letting the cards fall where they may. I think
John is right to head back to the Senate. He had the foresight in 2005
to push for reform of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae but a party line vote
by Democrats stopped that reform dead in its tracks. They said at the
time that there was no crises, no need for reform Well, Now there
certainly is a crises.

John McCain, a statesman, now heads to Washington once again. I
can only hope that American people see his leadership there and send
him to the Presidency on Nov 2nd where I think he is needed now more
than ever.

Sincerely

Mael

Yeah the same statesman that stuck it in our butts and stalled appointments for weeks just for political points.

I wouldnt pee on him if he were on fire.

My hope is he will go one term and let Palin save our land.

And McCain is going as well!

I'm not too keen on McCain, but he's the only horse I have in the race.

Very well said!

Country First!

McCain talks the talk and then walks the walk. God Bless him!

He’s doing the right thing, even though it very well could cost him the election.
