“Wichita Lineman”—must be a football song.

What about the song, "Call Me" (Blondie) -- it was one of the songs in that Richard Gere movie "American Gigolo."
Fitting!

I considered that as well as Stevie Wonder and Sinatra’s Call Me Irresponsible. Those were too obvious. This is easy to sing and easy to dance to. (Yes, I ended the previous sentence with a preposition.)

Send Sarah Palin to the debate Friday night.
They want to say she's not prepared to step up to President should the need arise. I believe she would do just fine, especially in an open debate format.
Time for a 'Hail Mary' in this campaign, so let's watch as Sarah mops the floor with BHO!
Anyone in the McCain/Palin camp listening? :-)

Now Pelosi/Reid has to call him back. Otherwise he is an empty suit that even his fellow democrats dont want around in a crisis.

How coincidental (for me). I saw Glen Campbell on Leno last night, googled him, and listened to several renditions of Witchita Lineman (such a nice song) by Campbell throughout his life.
And now we have your version, today! : )

Quite a coincidence. Is Campbell the one with the bad plastic surgery?

Particularly, since, until last night, I hadn't thought or heard of Glen Campbell in years. In fact, I thought he was dead.
I don't know about the plastic surgery. He is 72 and looks pretty good for 72, but not good or bad enough to have had extensive plastic surgery from what I could see.
Google him and judge for yourself! : ) There are nice videos of him with various stars who appeared on his variety show, many years ago. It really took me back to my childhood and teenage years.

Hi Doug,
You’re work is always awesome.
Is it possible for you to use the music from Sister Sledge-”We are Family”
with the Black Congressional Caucus Ad of ‘We’re Family’ in relation to the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debaucle.
Thanks

I actually have considered that. If I do, I can’t get to it for several days because of business.

I don't know about the plastic surgery. He is 72 and looks pretty good for 72, but not good or bad enough to have had extensive plastic surgery from what I could see. I didn't know Glen Campbell is old enough to be my father. I had such a crush on him when I was eight years old...he was so hot.

I know. Same here (he’s old enought to be my father). I was surprised he was that old myself. I don’t know that I had a crush on him, but I always thought he was cute. : )
