I think McCain has made the right decision too. I think Obama will re-think his position before this is over. McCain speaking from the floor of the Senate and being shown on the news will play good.

Someone said 7 billion dollars is about 4 grand per person. If the government is going to pring a bunch of money, maybe they should print it and send it to the peoplee instead of bankers who squandered it away.

Even if obama’s people called McCain, so what? It was for a “joint statement”. Nothing about a solution or taking the next step together, just more talk.

McCain took action and he did not need obamas permission to do so.
