While Sarah Palin huddled behind closed doors with global leaders yesterday, hubby Todd and baby Trig took off for some real fun - on the famous carousel in Central Park.
Todd - known as Alaska's "First Dude" - was spotted on the famous ride as he joyfully cradled Trig in his arms. The 5-month-old Trig has Down syndrome.

The rest of the article mentions that Piper and Willow were there too. It mentions other activities they did including: visiting Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty. Todd also took the kids to FAO Schwarz, where Piper tried on Princess dresses.

Piper and Willow aren’t in school? How does this work, do they have a tutor?
To: Lets Be Frank

That man is a role model for men in this country! THAT is a real man. Tough enough to work on a salmon fishing boat, tender enough to cradle his son in his arms.
Pantywaist liberals must be secretly ashamed.

Piper and Willow are getting an education school cannot provide. They will see more of the United States and meet more important people than most people meet in a lifetime.
For those concerned with the missed school time...When a child has to miss a few months of school with an illness, the teachers generally provide weekly packets with assignments, homework, etc. to allow the student to keep up. The Palin's may have that arrangement with the girl's teachers. A tutor is also an option. There are internet classroom options available as well.
