Democrat Barack Obama has an ever-so-slight lead over Republican John McCain in the latest Mason-Dixon Florida poll released Tuesday.
Obama held a 47-45 percent lead over McCain in the Sept. 16-18 survey of 625 voters. The margin for error was 4 percent.

Mason Dixon is a pretty good polling firm, IIRC. But the margin of error is 4 percent. So I’d say the poll shows a statistical dead heat. I didn’t click through, don’t know if it shows the internals of the poll.
This poll is another one the media has been sitting on. Notice it was taken 9/16-9/18 and is the same poll (I think) that was reported yesterday as an NBC/Mason Dixon poll. This is pure manipulation by a liberal media totally in the tank for Hussein. Nothing more then psychological warfare.

At least one side of that equation has to be gibberish. As always, it boils down to one poll that matters.
Commentators who claim some special inside track relate that in 1980 Reagan and Carter ran a dead heat until about three days before the election. That was when the bottom fell out of the Carter confusion.
These days I suspect objective polls would have shown the true contest for months, yet the pollsters tried to prop up Carter by skewing the samples.
Perhaps that's happening this year.
You can count on 30% of the Democrats polled saying that they will vote for Obama, where in reality they won’t.

The Tampa branch of the Obama campaign (AKA WFLA NBC 8) spent at least 10 minutes between 6:00 and 6:15 talking up the Obama rally today in Dunedin. Let’s see what kind of crowd he draws and if he has his mobile teleprompter with him.

I don’t think Mc Cain lost a 5 point lead
1) Totally lack of true managerial experience in both private industry and government service.
2) Too many sketchy friends he knew in his lifetime (Reverend Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Tony Rezko, and his close association with the Chicago political machine).
3) Too much emphasis on ballooning up the size of government and raising taxes.
4) Not offering concrete solutions on solving the energy crisis (hey, how about offering serious incentives to develop alternative fuels?).
(4) Barry Hussein has a serious energy plan....he wants all of us to inflate our tires. sarc/

That page is depressing... All that Blue. Doesn’t show McCain up in any of the battleground states.
