Sarkozy Takes Tough Stance Against Ahmadinejad

President Sarkozy of France would refuse to shake the hand of the Iranian president, who has called for Israel to be wiped off the map, the French leader told reporters today at the United Nations. At a press conference shortly after delivering a speech at the opening debate of the U.N. General Assembly, Mr. Sarkozy added that President al-Assad of Syria could be used to exert a positive influence on Iran.

If his stance against Iran is as "tough" as his stance against Red China a few monthes ago, this means we should expect to see him following around Ahmadinejad like a new puppy in a few monthes, kissing the ground he walks on.

Sorry Sarko, you lost all crediblity on standing up to dictators after you came on TV and loudly DEMANDED Red China "stop opressing tibet" or you'd "boycott" their opening ceremony in protest. China laughed at you and didn't lift a finger to cease human rights abuses... but a few monthes later, this is how your "boycott" went:
