The liberal MSM can't face the truth! After two years in power the Demorats have ran us into the toilet but they still try to blame everyone else.
To: Butterfickle
This is what McCain gets for failing to tell the truth about the HUGE connections the Democrats and 0bama have to these group. The Democrats latched on to this and now this is the big story.

To: Butterfickle
McCain himself didn’t get money from Fannie and Freddie, and he tried to introduce legislation to rein them in.

I'm sure that New Obama Times staffers Kirkpatrick and Duhigg just got done publishing the Obama Fannie & Freddie payoff numbers...

That’s only slightly more than Obama’s wife, Michelle, made working at a hospital to do community outreach.

Why are you assuming this is a troll? Just because this is her first post?
Seems to me that she did us a favor by posting this, and her comments certainly don't indicate that she is a "troll".
What am I missing here?

She wasn't doing outreach; she was giving them a boot in the butt, and out the door to some place else.
The NYT piece tries to accuse McCain's guy of some bad stuff while simultaneously saying McCain has been running a guilt by association thing on Raines ~
They are desperate. Objectively speaking they were ahead of the game by just keeping the whole business out of the news, but the NYT can't bottle stuff up anymore.
Obama will be taken down by Raines. McCain's guy got chump change in comparison.

The article is posted in a timely fashion in great Free Republic tradition. What's not to like?
Plus, we get a heads-up on what the evil Obama gnomes at NYTtimes are up to.so tickled by this campaign season. The media is outing itself left and left.

I was wondering the same thing as basil - why assume this is a troll? All rules were followed, including the barf alert and the comment ridiculing the NYT. It’s a bit suspicious for a newbie to get all that right. (I know my first post was a vanity that was immediately flamed - I didn’t quite grasp the concept.) Maybe this is a long-time lurker or a member who changed names.
Be nice to newbies as long as they behave.
