A friend of mine who is privy to such information informed me that GOP polling shows McCain down by about 4 in Virginia... Hampton Roads is the big problem area. To be clear, I am not making this up but I will not reveal the source. Take it for what you will.
Here kitty kitty
IBTZ!
*scratching head*
I can’t believe I missed it.... I don’t even feel tardy.
Damn, let me know how the rest goes.
Ummm....yeah, OK. Will do.
By the way, do you think Jack-in-the-Box tacos are made out of dog food? I've heard that rumor for years, but I've never seen it substantiated or not.
I've always been very curious about that.
Nothing to cheer about.
VA - 13 Electoral votes
MA - 12 Electoral votes
Net loss of one electoral vote.
Now THAT’s funny
Clean up on aisle 2088660 (can you believe how clever this guy is??)

Our friend is definitely suffering from Political Bipolar Disorder.
Thanks for sharing.
It’s not an “internal poll,” you dork. It’s the notorious Washington Post poll. How do I know? Because it contains the same standout datapoint: Obama doing unbelievably well in the Hampton Roads area. (And I mean “unbelievably” literally.)
Would be soooo sweet to see Kerry lose.

R.I.P
I heard a McCain ad on the radio at lunch, before Rush. I am not sure we are down by four but we have to hold on to VA or pick up a MI and PA to keep Obama out of the white House.

Welcome to Free Republic. If you can hold your own on your first post, you should be okay.
Hampton Roads is indeed a problem, partly because of the racial demographic. (People voting for Obama because he’s... black?? Horrors!!!) It’s also a problem because of one of the few vocal local talk show hosts on radio station WNIS, Tony Macrini. He’s a rabid libertarian to the point of bashing Bush for the last eight years and now starting in on McCain. He’s on the same station that carries Rush, Boortz, and Hannity, but the locals who hang on his every word are only hearing vitriol against the republicans on their way to work.
I believe it! Virginia is a classic case of ‘Government Dependence Index’ voting. Obama’s promises of expanding the government means more government jobs in that area. Each new government job means deficit spending. That’s the only way Democrats know how to ‘create’ jobs.
I figured this was coming. I am not a troll or any of that garbage. In fact, I was a member on here a few years ago until someone reported me because I used capital letters. What is that all about anyway?
A friend of mine who is privy to such information informed me that Fruit-of-the-Loom underwear causes measles.
I will not reveal my source.
