While lately, Liddy has given me pause, I’ve always thought her to be an intelligent lady.
An aside about Mrs. Dole - Her tenure as Sec. of Transportation were the safest 4 years in history in all 4 modes of transportation.

The news is full of Biden gaffes today, isn’t it? The rumors were that Biden might start intentionally gaffing to give Obama an excuse to dump him from the ticket. Wonder if this might be the start of that. Hmmmm...
