While lately, Liddy has given me pause, I’ve always thought her to be an intelligent lady.
An aside about Mrs. Dole - Her tenure as Sec. of Transportation were the safest 4 years in history in all 4 modes of transportation.

I agree- she’s bright- but sometimes I’ve despaired of her sticking to principles.
Today though- NC should be very proud of her. She was terrific.
