President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday evening that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the world safest country.The president who arrived in New York on Monday to attend the 63rd meeting of UN General Assembly which is to open on Tuesday, made the remarks while addressing an Iftar (fast breaking) ceremony attended by a large group of Iranians residing in the US.
He said that each Iranian national living anywhere in the world is considered as the Iranian flag, ambassador and spokesperson.
The Iranian nation, along the history, has always played determining role in basic developments in the human community, he said, adding that the role played by the Iranian people has always been cultural.
The Iranian rich culture has been warmly welcomed by world nations throughout the history, he noted.
He underlined the need for administering justice throughout the globe.

I’m just curious as to who told this goofy dude that all of the thugs that they were losing in Iraq were needed back in Iran to keep him and the mad mullahs in power. They were in danger of running out so Iran stopped sending them. At least the good Iranians got some relief.

If you consider freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, self-determination, and basic human rights to be dangers, then I guess he may be right, from that perspective, although North Korea would give him a run for his money.
