Sitting Room Only for Obama in Green Bay September 22, 2008 2:53 PM
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin packed the house last week in Green Bay, Wis., at the Resch Center.
Not so today in the same arena with Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., as ABC News' Sunlen Miller captured in these photos.
There are no Black colleges In WI ! In Fl the Messiah bussed them in from the local black colleges in the state .
What do you think about the odds of PA going for McCain/Palin?
I’m in blue Minnesota where they are polling about even. That is very encouraging. 0bama was up around 21 points in June. The worm has turned.
Which must be served over a healthy heaping of arugula.
He doesn't know WHAT the Packers are, but he still hates them.
And once you subtract the security staff, the press, and the rent-a-goons from the local union office ....
Interesting question. I've never heard of any.
Green Bay is a strong Catholic area with pro-life voters. It could be considered a safe GOP stronghold.
My sister, sho lives in Madison, says that the elite liberals in Madison are always ridiculing the voters in Green Bay as though they are stupid. Nothing new under the sun here.
How many black people came, I wonder. Looks like a lot more of those racist whites showed up than black folks.
Amazing how Michelle is able to make time to campaign for Obama but NO TIME to visit the 9/11 Memorial........they are gonna lose, big time!
Well that was the media’s little secret about the Obama crowds in Jax Fl , Miami, and Daytona.
Still, nowhere near the crowds McCain/Palin can draw.
Doesn’t surprise me in the least.
If you scrolled through this thead, the picture of Obama’s Missus in Madison shocks me more than the pictures taken in Green Bay. Madison’s leftism rivals any other lefty city in the nation. UW Madison has over 40,000 students enrolled, mostly in the prime age group for Obamamania.
Nagin forgot to send the school buses again?
Or did he just forget to load them with people before sending them from NOLA?
(If he had, he could have called it “an evacuation exercise. Free vacation trip; free meals; free board & room; cheering for a Dem: the NOLA freeloaders wouldn’t even know they had left home.)
The science of polling was not well developed at all in Truman's time. It is much, much better today. The better polls are pretty accurate. Candidates' own internal polls are very accurate, but we don't find out about them till after the election is already over.
HOLY COW! There was a bigger turnout at the free ‘Sunday Concert in the Park’ we went towhile visiting friends in Madison a few years ago.
Shucks, Ella’s Deli in Madison gets a bigger crowd at lunch time.
Madison turns out a bigger crowd than that for any random atheist ranting in the park.
Yet the MSM ignores 60,000 in Florida over the weekend...the MSM’s savior is going to crucified and we need to vote out every Liberal we can, period.
This is not the messiah youre looking for.
Thanks for the ping, Phil!
