Please pardon the Monday morning vanity rant, but what has Barack Obama ever done to be qualified to run for president, other than being Black?
He is a very junior, inexperienced Senator from Illinois.
He has sponsored no significant legislation in his entire lifetime.
He has very close ties, including financial ties to domestic terrorists who openly say they wish they had killed more Americans . and he tries to hide those connections.
He has close ties, including financial ties with men close to Saddam Hussein and he tries to hide those connections.
He is an admitted drug user.
He writes in his books of his dislikes for Whites.
He dismisses his grandmother, who gave up her own life to raise him, as a "typical racist White."
He purposely chooses to have his children listen to sermons from "ministers" who openly hate America.
He hangs out with and admires Louis Farrakhan.
His short career was spent working for a virulent anti-white group, ACORN.
He has absolutely no foreign policy experience
He has absolutely no military experience
He has absolutely no executive experience
He has the most far-left liberal voting record of any Senator
He promises to make us feel better, but so does Ex-Lax
Other than reading a teleprompter well and reciting circular arguments, and being Black, does this man have ANY qualifications for President?
What are his qualifications, other than being charming, glib and Black, for ANYTHING?
Is this the man you are willing to let decide, in a very dangerous world, how, and if you and your children will survive?
He's over 35 and a natural born U.S. citizen who has lived in the U.S. for the past 14 years. And he got the support of a majority of the delegates at his party's convention. Those are the only qualifications he needs.
So we should elect Charles Manson?
As far as I know, Barry’s not a felon.....yet.
Millions of other people, myself included, are asking the same thing.
“He promises to make us feel better, but so does Ex-Lax”
they do have a lot in common, now that i think about it...
this man DOES not have any american heritage in him.
this man lives in a psuedo american world, whose childhood genius, intellect and identity were shaped by his parents perceptions (or lack thereof). Muslim too.... what does that have to do with heritage?
Democrats, if black is your answer, at least give me a black american whose grandfather was in world war one.....
I don’t think you need any “achievements” to qualify to be a candidate for the Presidency. You just have to convince a larger portion of the voting public than any of your rivals that you are the right person for the job.
With that said, in my opinion, yes, his “experience” does leave a little to be desired.
Remember when Geraldine Ferraro had the temerity to ask this question?
He’s owed it.
More correctly, he is half "black" and that half left town right after he was born. He is one of the whitest men in America. He is an upper middle class professional married to the same, both with ivy league educations and a million or two in the bank. He was raised by white grandparents and white institutions. He is addicted to liberal elitist concepts of blackness now in the same way he was to drugs and alcohol earlier. Blackness is nothing more than his hobby.
Your screen name is the perfect answer
Since the advent of movies and TV, we live half of our lives in mundane reality and the other half vicariously through movies and small screen dramas.
We have moved from the generation of John Wayne fans to Denzel Washington groupies. It truly is a case of mass fantasy projection and it might be a good time to have a national psychological health plan for crisis intervention.
Personally, I’m still stuck on Elvis;)
Those aren't qualifications. They only say he's eligible to be president, and that's debatable.
I would vote for someone without much experience if I knew that they stood for the things for which I stand. Barak Obama, as the most liberal senator in the body, represents the principles they believe in...’believe’ is a strong word, but those reading this post (for the most part) know what I mean.
I just read this thread - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2087544/posts
It will help you understand...
1. An experienced liar.
2. A racist.
3. A sexist.
4. A Communist Anti-American street thug.
Seems to me he's a perfect Dem candidate!
I see pundits saying, if I don’t vote for Obama, then I’m racist. (I’m not)
Consider the contrast of Obama’s level of experience and the level of experience of those working for his campaign. His campaign staffers are hard working seasoned professionals of what they do. But Obama is just a charming beneficiary of easily won elections due to machine politics.
