A suitcase filled with $800,000 in cash has embroiled Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez in a scandal which has fuelled claims of corruption and cover-up at the heart of his self-styled socialist revolution.

When is the venezualan military finally going to put the smackdown on this douche?
Works about the same...
It took this to prove corruption?
If oil crashes, Chavez is toast.
This is old news. I heard about this months ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sent Obama money, but then the FBI would be accused of being racist if they investigated it.

Ha! That is one freight train I would never get in front of...
The Bush administration tacitly backed a coup against Chávez in 2002.
As I remember it, the Bush administration publicly condemned the coup, which then collapsed.
I don’t know about the political complexion of the Venezuelan military, but I suspect it is now heavily infiltrated by Chavez commie allies. Also, Chavez emerged from the army himself. Actually, he should have been banned from politics, and better yet executed for treason, long ago after leading a coup. Instead, he was allowed to run for office and win.
Thanks.
If he will not publicly repent and choose Jesus as His Salvation,
may he speedily reap what he has sown with a great percentage of interest.
