Yes, "termination dust" is the sign for those that don't do winter to get things ready to leave.
These pictures were taken Friday, yesterday, from the 3rd floor of the office I used to work at. My new office is a couple miles the other way, closer to the water. Anchorage sits between mountains on the east and water on the west.
You can see my mountaintops here. I live closer to the mountains, almost in an exact line from what you see.
