US Presidential Campaign Hacktivism: first Palin, now O'Reilly
by Davey Winder Sunday, 21 September 2008
!Visitors to the conservative Fox News reporter Bill O'Reilly's website might be forgiven for thinking all was as normal. Yet more than 200 of its paid subscribers details have been posted in public after the site was hacked, apparently in retaliation over comments O'Reilly made following the Sarah Palin email hack.
The US Presidential election trail was always going to be a dirty one. The notion of an open and transparent campaign really is sweet, but laughable. Things have started to get really muddy this week though, when the hackers got involved.

If Obama can’t convince his own followers of a need to change, can’t convince them that dirty politics should be a thing of the past, how will he convince the Iranians to be our friends?
These are the same ‘RATS who see the CIA’s and FBI’s spying on Islamofascist terrorist as being “chilling.”
populist becomes a conservative? what say you/
Well done rats, O’reilly is really going to roast Obama’s ass now, he was heading to the dark side, i think that will bring him back to the light.
Shoot, Obama’s campaign is giving out private voter data (including SSNs) to anyone who signs up, even signing up with a fake name:

Get the message out.
“what say you/”
I say that the liberals think he’s a conservative. They hate him ‘cause he doesn’t buy their crap, and is on FOX, and has lots of viewers.
I’m sorry, but I thought that Obama was gonna bring CHANGE and HOPE. All he’s brought is another round of paranoia among the IT professionals.
Ya know, the resources of the Secret Service and O’Reilly are probably not what you want to be testing, WRT a felony.
The anti- patriot act crowd will no issue with this at all.
The Democrat Party is right out of the Hugo Chavez world and we need to perepare ourselves for physical confrontations and that is no joke. America is headed as fast as it can to a dictatorship if we do not hunker down.
This is getting serious, someone has make an example of these people and put a stop to it. Obama wasn’t kidding when he told his cult followers to stop at nothing, to “get in their faces”. He’s as much to blame for this dirtiness as anyone.
I’m just glad we have the guns, and I’m serious.
Obama's "In Your Face" Youth get their marching orders.
He is still in the afterglow from BHO gracing him with his presence and STILL crowing about how high his show's ratings are.
He is full of himself but he also likes to Lord his ratings over Olbermann and MSNBC everytime he can.
Obama himself said that “They don’t know who they’re messin’ with.” Anyone who didn’t understand that at best he was suggesting that he was an intimidating, bullying, Chicago Machine, politician who would do anything or use any tactic to gain power, misunderstood him. I do not see Obama preaching restraint anywhere, but in front of the camera. “What did he know and when did he know it?”, should be ringing in the ear of every Obama supporter. As LBJ always said, “Make the Bastard deny it.”
Bill is only as conservative as is efficasious with his limmited talent. He banks (literally) on his being percieved as an “independent” as he cannot compete on the open market with the REAL conservatives media giants like (in order)Rush Limbaugh,Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck.
Bill may be more conservative than he presents, but he has found his lucrative niche as a part patriot, part pinhead and who am I to fault his entrepreneurial sacrifice of reason for personal gain?
It’s business, and Bill is more on the good side than the bad.
Kind of like having French troops fighting with you. They may never kill your enemies, but they will take some of the bullets perhaps meant for you and their constant surrendering certainly saves on groceries.
Well put.
Lost me right there.
