This is not a bad showing for McCain, given how the state usually votes. Even better news is that this same survey shows Dino Rossi slightly ahead of Christine Gregoire.

Continued good news for Dino Rossis race. Now if we can just figure out how to keep the ballot counters at least semi-honest we might be in good shape!

This poll must have been exclusive to King County. Republican headquarters in Clark County cannot keep McCain/Palin bumper stickers in stock!
I would like to see a county by bounty poll on the same questions in Washington State. This one, I think, was sent up as a smoke screen.

I don't trust polls farther than I can spit, but they make for interesting discussion. IF these numbers represent the actual sentiment of voters in WA, the election is over for Obama. WA should be a solid bastion of liberal support. Everything Obama would like to nail down is up for grabs. There is still time left in the campaign, but the kind of divisive, insulting campaign it has been has left him in a deep hole he cannot climb out of. Even if he scored perfectly and hit all his best applause lines right on que from here to election day he will have to drag around all these errors and insults and poor judgement and shady associates like the heavy chains of poor Marley in "A Christmas Carol". He has done it to himself. If it weren't for a blindly in-love-with-Obama liberal press, he wouldn't have half the support he has now.
I'm glad to see the national polls are behaving, keeping the totals close. We don't need polls being used as propaganda to cause anyone to give up hope. Voting is an expression of American speech, and that process should never be interfered with by Chrissy Matthews, Keith Uber-head, or anybody for that matter.

Since frenchie won Washington 53/46 this isn’t news, but the encouraging part is Obama under 50 and 11 points of undecided to be picked up. What is the bradley factor? Who knows?

Continued good news for Dino Rossis race.Rossi's race I care about, and it actually might be worse for conservatives if Gidget and The Geezer win. So, there still is some cause to smile.

Chrisine Gregoire believes our state's economic future depends on destroying nascent human life - God's most precious gift.
She then closes with "God bless you."
I have very strong feelings about this. I don't know about others, but if I was in a medical situation (diabetes) that was curable, and the cure cost another human being their life - no matter whether an embryo, an elderly person, a black person, a white person - I would REFUSE that treatment. My (wife's) Aunt is in that very situation: diabetic, no use of feet, wheelchair, and she would never accept such treatment and has voted against furthering it in her own state.
Let's cure these things with adult stem cells, which have been proven to work (ESC has not, and probably will not). Make no mistake: The embryonic stem cell argument is a specious one intended to make the abortion lobby feel good by finally coming up with a "use" for nascent human life.
